Been vaping for a about two months and have had the chance to turn a few folks onto it. Every time, they all insist on matching their exact brand. It is totally understandable. I do my best to get that thinking out of their head and turn them onto other flavors they enjoy. I started by using other simple flavors (coffee types and basic fruits) and loved it since day one. Totally skipped tobacco flavors.

I wonder if it hurts people trying to quit to be stuck on the need to replicate a smoke identically? How many folks here still stick to tobacco flavors after vaping for a long period?

It's a totally natural preference going in and easy to break for most. Giving up a massively addictive habit that has ruled your life for many years is a scary proposition. For anyone. Everybody who tries vaping is praying it works without pain or displeasure (unlike all other forms of nrt). The closer to the real thing the better chance at "liking" it is natural. But if a noob's mind opens like many, their entire outlook on vaping changes dramatically. In a good way of course.

Looking back, cigs don't taste good at all. They taste pretty terrible compared to other flavors I like but the mental association with the mood blast strongly connects the flavor to the deep rooted addiction. The psychological and physical addiction to those perfectly engineered delivery devices is so powerful that millions of people knock down carton after carton with acute knowledge that they are causing serious damage to their body and shortening their life. It's no wonder everyone is chasing the "perfect cig vape" at the beginning.

I quickly realized that it "felt like I was smoking" AND I could mix it with all my favorite flaves. If that's not something special I don't know what it.

I actually like the Dekang Virginia when I think I might like a cigarette but I'm not sure if it's because it's been a month since I've had an analog. It tastes a lot like I remember my Basic Ultra Light 100's tasting like. I swore that I'd never be able to vape any of the flavors but decided to try some just to see for myself. Now I don't really want the tobacco juices! I also swore that I'd never want a VV device but I've got one on the way. I am still using Ego batteries and I swear I will never get one of those bigger ecigs!

RY4 and 555 from Mt Baker are the best "tobacco" flavors I've ever had, that are smooth, not overbearing but a lil smell of caramel, and maintained a lil sense of tobacco taste, smell and not some banana crème pie.. ...but I never had any ecig mini or liquid that tasted anything close to a real analog...and actually why would I want to buy something now that taste like an analog that I want to get and stay away from?...no analog ever TASTED good, just some were more pleasant than others and became habitual, but none were tasty and good like moms apple pie..

Personally, for the year or so before I swapped to ecigs... I found that when I was outside smoking.. I'd spit a lot, because I couldn't stand the taste, but surely I was hooked on those analog sticks hard. As a matter of fact, started that spitting habit once I picked the analogs back up after the Chantix, which was like 2007-2008ish, just got really bad in 2012-2013.

No, analogs don't "taste" good, and I'd agree with the others that said that it probably can't be recreated with an ecig to 100% accuracy.

Also, I completely understand the desire to want to help out a friend/acquaintance with trying to get them off of real cigs and onto something that will help them out. Having said that, I agree with the other post about why that much trouble, when the person you are trying to help doesn't have any skin in the game. No person will seriously make the decision to swap until they choose themselves (just my opinion). I would try to pique their interest and then let them know that if they really wanted to quit, I'd be there to help guide and advise them, to help them not waste their money and find gear/juice that would be effective for them.

I prefer tobacco flavors. My usual ADV is one that a local guy mixes, called September Wolves. It's somewhere between a Pall Mall and a cigar - on the rough side. There's a made-in-China juice called Parmal that's pretty good, and Liquid E-Fusion makes several. I like their Eureka Classic Leaf. But there's no accounting for taste. Some that I hate are very popular, and some that I like, others hate. Always nice to have a try-before-you-buy store in the area.

So I just recently started vaping, and the first few tobacco flavors really didn't sit well for me. I have started to move more towards citrus/bakery flavors, which works great for me and I'm enjoying my vaping experience.

Now to the problem, I want to pass on my ego twist kit to a 2PaD friend of mine who said he was interested in trying it out, great!, only problem is he wants a tobacco flavor, which I have yet to find a good one of,:(. I know this guy well if this isn't really pain free and simple he will not continue vaping for long and will go back to analogs.

We hang out every once in a blue moon so I can't keep renewing the vape bug in him, but I would really like to see him quit the stinkies for good. So my plan is to buy a 5ml bottle of every tobacco flavor I come across and once I find the right flavor buy a big bottle to go along with the egos.

I still have yet to try some of the flavors I regularly see on the site like Ry4 or the Dekang stuff, which are already on order, ATM I have:

Ry4*
Dekang Marlboro*
LiQuA Traditional Tobacco, American Tobacco, Tobacco Blend*
Eliquidusa USA mix
Alien Vapor Boba's Bounty, Red Box Full Flavor, Red Box Medium Flavor, Gorilla Juice*
*indicates in delivery

So, my question to you is what else should I order? The USA mix was horrible, I have hear great things about the Boba's and the Gorilla Juice, so hopefully they will do the trick but I really want the perfect flavor.

thanks in advance for any and all replies

I've tried a few now & the best I've had is Totally Wicked Red Label Tobacco ( not too sweet). I will be in the future trying some Halo Prime 15 or Torque 56 I've heard good things:)

And I'll add in some Dorky Stud from Vapetrik. Complex tobacco, exhale slight toasted coconut and something else in there - maybe almond or hazelnut. Every time I vape it I get a slightly different flavor combo.

Halo Tribeca is also a decent RY4 variant. Nice and smooth with some complexity and not as sweet as most RY4's I have tried.
