I recently came across some pier review papers regarding ECs. I found them pretty interesting and thought I would share.
Stanton Glantz anti-ecig crusader criticized one of these papers and 53 original signatories have returned fire deconstructing Glantz's arguments.

A recent study found that while smoking causes a delay in myocardial relaxation, ecig use had no immediate effects. Published June 2014.

Interesting read, really illustrates what we're up against:

Who wants to be bothered with data like
"nitrosamines are present in e-cigarette vapor but level of daily exposure is some 1800 times lower compared with tobacco cigarettes."

and

The US Pharmacopeia has established safety limits for the daily exposure to heavy metals through inhalation for medications. In the case of
lead and nickel (Pb and Ni), the safety limits are 6 times higher than the expected daily exposure from e-cigarettes while for chromium (Cr) the difference is more than 70 times.

So basically the US Pharmacy standards allow you to suck in WAY more lead, nickel and chromium per day than an ecig produces.

It so much easier to write a headline that says "Ecigs aren't safe"
