TOBH 2.5 Question

So I recently picked up an authentic TOBH 2.5. I'm absolutely loving this thing except for a few things. When trying to remove the jacket so I can rewick/build new coils, it is painfully difficult to get that thing off....to the point where I get worried that I might actually damage the 510 threading on the atty and mod by how hard I'm pulling. I even debated taking some pliers to it but I was too paranoid about scratching it up. As of now I just have to keep pulling and eventually that thing pops off. I have tried putting liquid on the O-rings before putting it back on and that doesn't seem to help. Is this normal? Any other TOBH users have a difficult time getting the jacket off? Any fixes for this issue?

No, it's not...my top part pops off easy...puling the jacket..on the other hand is pain the .... for me..since it's authentic..maybe contact the manufacture themselves..

Yeah the jacket is the one that I'm having the problem with. Top part comes off easily. So your jacket is a PITA to get off too?

Hell yeah..it's hard ...it doesn't pop off smooth..compared to my Monkee, Zenith, and atomic. I just have to grip just right...and then pop . It has gotten better though...with lot of use with .3 something build..maybe the heat from the atty help loosen the jacket though.

I have the 30mm Tobh... and the finned top cap is tight but removable if you tilt the cap just a tad when pulling it off. But the sleeve was impossible to remove. Once I got it pulled apart, I removed the top Oring ( leaving the bottom one on) and now taking the sleeve off is much eaiser

Oh man glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue. Like I said that thing is damn near impossible to get off....I feel like I'm about to break something when I'm pulling on it. Lol. I'll try the o-ring thing. Only other RDA I have used is a tobeco patriot clone and that jacket/top cap comes off easily.

My Atty 2.5 is the same. Extremely tight.
