ok here goes, I need some help. I finally get to order my VK However, I am not confident about what all to order. I was hoping from some advice.
Here is my situation: my wife and I are both smokers, "USA Lights" I smoke about 2 packs a day and she about 1 pack a day. i have smoked for the last 17 years.
I have in my cart the ultimate manual kit. 1 extra manual battery, 4 different flavors of carts.
What strengths do I need? which flavor cart tastes like a real smoke?
what am I missing on our 1st order? are 4 diffrent flavors too much? should I cut back on carts and add juice? Is there anything I am forgetting???? PLEASE HELP

Carto strength and flavors are so subjective! I prefer the 16mg - that seems to have the right balance of flavor and throat hit for me. If I am really wanting some kick, I also have 24mg on hand. In the evening when I am chilling, I find the 6mg or 8mgs on my passthrough just right. Lots of flavor, not so much throat hit. I started with Marlboro and have a ton of them, but found I like the other flavors so much better. Coffee is a favorite of mine.

If you are both going to be sharing, I would really recommend the ultimate ultimatum with extra battery because it also has the pcc charger. When you are on the go, there will always be a battery fully charged and waiting for when either yours or your wife's battery dies. I love my pcc charger. As for juice, you might buy a bottle to match whatever flavors you buy.

If you are completely serious about dropping the analogs for good, I would say to get at least 2 batteries for each person. 2 batteries are much more likely to get you through an entire day than 1. I might actually suggest going for another PCC kit rather than an extra battery. The PCC is really nice to have when on the go.

I definitely don't think that 4 flavors is too much, if anything too little. What I would do if I were you is order a few 5ml bottles of juice too so that you can refill the empties. Maybe get a couple different flavors in the 5ml juices.

I have no idea which of V4Ls juices taste the most like tobacco, I actually quit with a different brand and was pretty much hooked on the fruity flavors by the time I found V4L. I have heard people raving about the Mboro, RY4, and the French Pipe though. I definitely wouldn't limit myself to just the tobacco flavors though because the other flavors are REALLY good.

Overall I wouldn't stress too much about the order because V4L is really good with shipping very fast, so if you realize that you need something else it's not going to take very long to get to you.

I smoked ultra lights and found that 16 mg/ml were fine for me.The mboro and hilton are the carts that "taste" like a real smoke.With your first order getting only carts first is a good choice,then when you find the flavor you like the best then get the juice so you can refill your favs.getting a good variety of flavors will help you find the taste you like most.All lot of users of the Vk find that getting the ultimate ultimatum kit if by far the best choice to go for since you get everything you will ever need.I personally got the same kit you did(without the pcc)and I'm happy with it.But if you are going to be away from a source of power for long periods of time,getting the pcc might be a good choice for you also especially only having three batteries either you or your wife will only have 1 battery with you.

I recommend 24mg for "heavy" smokers (pack or more a day)...16mg for normal smokers (right at a pack a day) and 11 or less for light smokers)

I personally vape 36 in the morning to get me going and 16 or 24 all day after that.

If a cart is too strong, you can always add a drop or three of Glycerin to it ( might dilute flavor just a bit, but not too much. Get glycerin @ walmart in the pharmacy section.

Marlboro flav taste like marlboro + a little "ashy" flavor IMHO

555 nice well balanced tobacco flav (a little more natural flav)

Hilton is my favorite, smooth...a hint of "earthy/nutty flavor

French Pipe is also VERY good...rich sweet tobacco flav (just tried a friends cart last nite, might be my new fav!!!)

One thing Ive noticed is that your not going to get that "burnt" kinda flavor to your tobacco flavs, more like a fresh opened pack of smokes, before lighting.

Like RyGuy mentioned, I would also suggest that you each have two batteries. I know that I vaped a lot more when I first started than I do now. That way both of you will always have an extra battery to change over to. Also, if you don't get the PCC, I would highly recommend at least another wall charger so you can both be recharging when you need to. I also recommend just carts for now until you decide on a flavor. Or at the very most, just get the 5 ml ones. I would add at least one of the fruity flavors as well - you just may be surprised at how enjoyable they are. I never thought I would vape anything but the tobacco flavors and now I don't use any of them. Whatever you decide on for flavors, as was mentioned, you get very fast shipping from Steve so anything else you decide you need more of would arrive in just a few days.

Your theory is sound as a pound! Working great for me as well as all my comrades here...who you should use as a valuable resource as well! This is a great source of support, and Im sure I speak for everyone, but it brings a smile to my face to see Steve, Mark and Dave post on here as well.

Your theory will make quitting smoking analogs actually ENJOYABLE (believe it or not!) Have fun with it...make it a hobby...and enjoy the benefits. You will start to feel so much better so much quicker than you thought...

The most important thing is to just get started, after that you can figure out if you need more hardware, carts, juices, etc.

Personally, I got my VK 2 weeks ago, immediately dropped to about 2 cigs a day. I am now on day 4 without one, and I'm completely OK with it aside from a couple habitual urges that the VK stomps out.

I'd suggest a variety of carts first, before juices, then find which ones you're in love with and go from there. Don't get too wrapped up in the tobacco flavors, experiment a little.

If you're at a computer all day, 1 bat and a passthru should be fine for you, 2 bats for the wife.

as a few people have said i would recommend the ultimate ultimatium kit, a pcc kit and at least 1 extra battery. then you both have PCC's and a couple batteries each. and with the carts i would also say just get a variety of flavors of carts. try them and see which you like the best then get that juice. thats what i am doing. just have to wait till next payday to get more carts. hopefully more will be instock then. everyone is blowing through V4L's stock so quick.
