Right out of style me!

Anywhere between 6.8 and 8 watts on a regulated mod with 18 strength juice and a 1.6 or 1.8 ohm coil. Somewhere about 14 watts on a mech mod with a 1 Ohm coil.

I like flavour, I like nicotine and I'm not a cloud chaser so it works for me.

You could also say it's the comfort of the familiar - I've done it that way since I switched to vaping three and a half years ago and as it works for me, so I've no real motivation to change.

Generally between 8-30w. Resistance varies a lot though. Highest I’ve ever vaped was 110w, but that was for a specific reason ohms at the time we’re ~.06-~.12. Normally ohms are in the .5 range, though I’ve gone up to 2.3+ ohm. Also for specific reasons.
Current daily driver is 25w@.65ohm. I do it in a 200w mod though. The problem is that engineers keep designing for batteries that don’t exist yet, and marketers keep trumpeting the results as if they do. Boost/buck circuits theoretically (but not always in practice) can produce pulsed if not quite genuine voltage above the rating of the battery. Very hard on the batteries though so I avoid it myself.

I’ve been trying to find ways around that one myself. Seems it can be done, but maybe not so worthwhile. I was hoping for greater efficiency but gains are less than expected and PITA level is higher than expected. So far it is kind of a wash. I’m not totally out of ideas yet though.
