Sweet... you will dig it. I have 4 of them! Here are your tips getting started...with the .25 coil

1. Prime the coil but don't over do it on the open tip end, mostly the juice channels
2. Let it sit for 5 full min
ps...if you have it, the tank loves higher VG juice but 50/50 is fine
4. Vape it at 30 watts for 5 min, then 50 watts for 5 min
5. After you have been through 2 tanks, then give it a shot up to 75

That process works really well, I have taken the 3rd tank full as high as 85 high VG. They key is don't rush. Coils last a long time if you treat them good the first few tanks.
Which coil do you recommend i start out with? I believe it comes with 3 of them

You may as well go straight to the .25, the tips I mentioned are based on that. The .5 ohm is fine, just really does about 50-60 watts max (safely) so just tier down playing with them.

Just going back to the Subtank Mini, I really enjoy mine still and get good flavour, it's my take a break tank from the other crazy tanks.. I vape mine at 35w, you dont need to pull as hard either, pretty crazy but that 0.5ohm has sort of become my tootle puffer hahaha

If you're looking for a good sub-ohm tank, check out the Artic by Horizon Tech, by far the best sub-ohm tank i've used, trying almost all the new ones out there.. the only ones I haven't tried yet are the triple coil sub-ohm tanks like TFV4 by SMOK or the the Hat trick one. Interested to see how much clouds it puts out and the flavor versus the tanks out now.

I finally got the 50watt istick I wanted a few weeks ago..from focalecig and it's a POS, the bottom was like a tap dancer and now the switch has just quit firing, so I've emailed them for a refund (and I'll send it back it's junk) so we'll see.

but I got my 7th & Grand Sidecar Rally in (vanilla bean icecream and toasted hazelnut) my new favorite ..so all's not lost.

how are you liking the 100watt iStick? is the quality as good (if you have a 20 watt or 30watt one)?

and just cause it's cool

Yeah that's cool !!

All the problems I read about the Isticks are mainly the 50w mod, at least yours didn't blow up.. You look well chilled out in that pic

Just find out my ohm meter is back ordered and won't ship for another 4 days. Bummer

Go get a DMM, a cheap one is cheaper than an ohm reader and serves more than one purpose... but I won't lie, I would like an ohm reader for its ease of use and simplicity, but haven't found one cheap enough to justify buying one.

Is one of them meters that you screw the atomizer into.. Not an actual ohm meter. It was like $8 on fasttech.com

You can get this one from harbor freight for $5-$7, look for the flyer at the front of the store they usually have a coupon for it.

Dry hits, not getting a very good hit, burnt taste.. I'm disappointed i really wanted this tank. I'm gonna give it a chance add try different things before i actually say i don't like it. But so far it don't compare to my Herakles and Triton.

When I have issues with my subtank hitting dry I take a needle and kind of poke the cotton where it meets the outside of the coil housing. Kind of loosen it up a little but becareful. Don't dislodge it. That helped me a bunch
