I recently found this YouTube channel and I wanted to share it with the community. They've produced 9 short videos in the past week or so, and they approach the subject of vendor and consumer advocacy with a great deal of passion. Please take a moment to view some (or all) of their videos, share, and leave comments.

Thank you BuGlen for posting that link.

We Definitely need to get the Message out to People. And People needed to get Active. And This video Outlines what People can do as a Start.

So far, I've only watched that one. I like how they mention that our greatest power is in the numbers of vapers. The more there are, the more political power we have.

I don't like the feeling of being scolded by that one guy, but it's pretty easy to brush off for the good message underneath the tone. Thanks to them for taking the initiative to make the video. Good clear message and explanation of the organizations fighting for us.

That's not scolding, that's passion. I know it's rare in our society today, but there's a big difference, even if both cause a person to raise their voice and speak with conviction. ;)

Well, that would perhaps be true if anything like a decent percentage bothered to lobby politicians, sign petitions and so on. But if you look at say, the ECF membership and then the number of signatures any CASAA call to action receives...

Still true, but you point out stuff that would enhance that power.

A video? Really? Why not a written text? I absolutely abhor videos that take the place of actual literacy. I might watch it as it seems to be something useful, but I shudder for the future of literacy.

If this is how we reach out to younger generation then be it. It's the message that's important.

Yeah... I don't Really care if the Message is written in Crayon on the back of Bar Napkins. As long as More people are Getting the Message.

Because it seems like there was More Talk/Concern over Deeming and the Coming FDA Rule Set back in 2010 than there is Today.

I really think encouraging literacy is a lot more important. This spoonfeeding-by-video is just encouraging them to NEVER learn to read.

Maybe they're intentionally lulling people to sleep by turning vaping advocates into The Boy Who Cried Wolf. How does that rate on the paranoia scale?

Dunno.

And I Don't think that Anyone could have predicted that FDA would take this Long to Deem e-Cigarettes.

But with Congress Repeatedly calling for the FDA to submit This Summer, and with things like HR-2058, and Appropriation Spending Cuts, I Don't Thing we have Very Long to Wait.

Literacy is almost dead. Times/technology are here to stay and advance however..

If literacy ever truly dies, it will be another "Dark Ages". All that's required is for the common people to be illiterate; then those few who are literate will control all information -- exactly as the catholic church did until very recent times. That would NOT be a good thing.

Except for the information is already controlled by the few in charge of main stream news and media agencies. Only the people reading and watching alternative media sources (this youtube link is a great example) get an idea of what's really going on in this world.

It's how the Left HAS to do things these days. They destroyed education. They now at least have to get someone to hold up signs and chant.
