Yes, really. I received my order from T yesterday full of Testing Area flavors. Of course I have to keep up with the new stuff too! I have not been through many of them yet, but I am working on it. But I just have to say...
I received the Tomato juice flavor in the group. Obviously since it is so different, I put this one high on the list to try. I was honestly amazed! To me, it tastes like Tomato Bisque, so now that is its new name! It has been changed on the site. Yes, many have balked at the Dill Pickle flavor, which although it is completely true to its name, may be a little tougher for some to deal with than the Tomato Bisque. I am going to have to recommend this, especially to those who are a little more daring. But, even for the less daring, I think you might actually appreciate this one. It is definitely not like a fresh tomato, it is much more like the tomato one would experience in a bisque, soup, or maybe even a Bloody Mary. If someone loaded a cart for you and didn't tell you what it was, you would recognize it immediately.
This test has been on a bottle straight out of the box. I have no idea yet what a little steeping will do. I'm sure I will find out though, if I can keep enough of my little 6ml bottle for a week or so. Seriously, I can't believe I have already gone through over 1/2ml of it in my testing process along with a bunch of other stuff.
Another one I tried was the Pineapple Pizza. I didn't think I would like this one either, but in fact I did. I prefer the Tomato Bisque, but the Pineapple Pizza was good too. It has a bit of a garlicky flavor, so of course some aren't going to like it. Honestly, I can actually see myself going through the entire 6ml of it too.
This has proven to me yet again that even though a flavor may sound strange, it does have the potential for greatness.
