getting a little off topic, but my android's battery after 2.5 years was only lasting 8 hours, so I went on ebay and bought a new battery for $5. It's not a genuine samsung battery, the genuine one was $35.
I'm not sure about batteries, but apple products in au have a 24 month warranty standard, they try to tell you it comes with a 12 month warranty and you can extend it to 24 months by spending another couple hundred dollars, but by au law, it's 24 months without the extended apple warranty.
While I'm off topic, things are more expensive in au for no reason, it's more expensive to buy adobe software in australia than it it to buy a return ticket to the usa and buy the software in the usa. believe it, or not.

yeah but what's 24 months in a time warped metric system using place like Australia equivalent to here in the U.S.? like 20 minutes? i dont know the current conversion rates.

No, the electronics in the battery case stop you from going below 3.x, if it did let you go to 0, it would be ruined.

actually, if it's Lithium manganese dioxide then it could drop as far as 2.4V. those are commonly used in "cell" type batteries (like the found used to power watches or Computer BIOSes).

The Maxim 8808 circuit will also regulate the lowest charge before shutting off the electronics alltogether, and that is usually in the 3-range.

Lol or reverse. It's all a time warp tho between u and us! But batts and software maybe cheaper here, they just make it up in prescription meds. Although a lot of name brand meds are made in the US, they just like to charge us triple cuz pharma is nice like that.

HEAVEN, THY NAME IS HALO!!!! OMG, I GOT IT!!!! You guys were right, it was definitely my technique. I was pulling way too hard, hitting it like I was on a two minute smoke break! The proper technique makes things so much different ... enjoyable and down right LEISURELY! (Is that a word???) I haven't coughed ONE TIME since I slowed down. It is fanFRICKINGtastic! Exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. Thanks so much for the tips and walking me through everything. I promise to pay it forward and help others the way you have all helped me. I am so impressed with the Triton, I can't even tell you. The batteries must have been fully charged, I used the same one for about 4 hours, then as Dave suggested, went ahead and put it on the charger. The next battery is what I am using now and it appears to have a nice charge, too. Those were both 650s, and I haven't even touched the 900 Mah yet. That's really impressive since they've been in the freezing cold for six days now. I warmed them up and they fired right off the bat. I just love the Iridescence color I chose, too. Instead of one solid color, I got all my favorites in there! Up close you can appreciate all the shades of blue, purple, magenta, green and yellow - but from a distance it looks totally different, almost a solid navy blue. How'd they do that? And it feels really good in my hand, the button is right where it needs to be. I think everything about it is "just right"! What a relief, I can work on the QUIT instead of being frustrated with the DEVICE! Thanks again, you guys! I can tell you really care and want to help people stop smoking. I wish I had known about this sooner, but I am not going to look back. Thanks you, thank you, thank you!

Congrats! When you enjoy vaping MORE than you enjoyed smoking, as most of us do, there's just no incentive to go back to analog cigarettes. And that makes quitting easy and painless. Remarkable isn't it?

You've got a good, reliable unit, including three batteries. This is good! But is there a single point of failure anywhere in your system? What would happen if the USB charger failed? Get a spare as soon as you can, along with a pack of coils (as previously mentioned). More tanks would be good too, especially if you're planning on doing a lot of flavor testing.

Welcome to the fold! Shout it from the mountain tops! This is WAAAAY better than cigarettes!!!

VAPE ON!!!

meds are just as expensive here, but well proven popular meds are government subsidised for approved usage, so you pay $10 regardless if the meds cost $50 or $500. If they aren't government subsidised you can pay $1000s per week for things like experimental cancer meds, etc. I like india's approach. they just don't recognise medicine patents at all, and they make their own copies and sell them for cost.

Finally! My tracking information updated and shows my new Halo Triton kit and liquids are just a few miles from me and will be delivered TOMORROW!!!! (I am so excited, I know I will be awake all night! I've been waiting SIX DAYS!) Since the temp is so cold here (zero or below) do I need to do anything special setting up? I am thinking I should probably let everything warm up to room temp. Do the batteries need to be charged fully before trying? And about the batteries, do you guys let your batteries go all the way down before recharging or is it ok to plug in every night and top off? I got two 650 Mah and a 900, so what do you suggest - ok to leave one on the charger when not in use? Is it true that its best to use a wall plug to charge rather than running off a computer's usb? Sorry so many questions, I am sure the kit comes with good instructions and there are lots of youtube videos as well to help me out. But you guys have first hand experience and are my new BFF's! LOL. Thanks for any suggestions!

I would let everything come to room temperature slowly to avoid condensation. Charge the batteries until green light before using. It is my understanding that letting the battery drain all the way and then fully recharge is = 1 charge cycle. running it halfway down and charging it would be = .5 charge cycles. Batteries are generally good for 300-500 charge cycles so I try to charge before fully depleted to increase battery life. My logic could be totally wrong on this, take it as you will. Don't leave them on the charger long after the green light. I never use a computers usb port--not so much for the ecig, but to ensure that I don't fry my laptop. Hope this answers all your questions and good luck in your vaping journey!

Edit: Well after going back and actually reading the entire thread I see that you already received your kit and I am once again late to the party. Enjoy.

I've always wanted to go to Australia. I saw pics of Agnes Water and Hyams beach and it looks out of this world. Turquoise beautiful water and white sandy beaches.

I'd need a months supply of Xanax for that flight!!!!!

Mistress AngiBe,

After the last week in Indy, I think you'd be up to flying almost anywhere else!!!

(Have you looked into hypnosis therapy for flying anxiety? Do you really fear flying more than 35 inches of snow with -15F temperatures?)
