A dry mouth doesn't usually cause tongue pain. It's possible that you bit it at some point. Or maybe your tip got a little to warm and touched your tongue causing a small blister. This happens to me sometimes. Especially when I'm using a metal tip.

I have had issues with a dry or burning tongue and think it is when I am not being careful about drinking enough while vaping. Maybe it is a sensitive tongue but I really have to keep the fluids going. Did while I was smoking too. The positive of it is I am drinking water!! Cheers hope it settles and Vape on.
The first week or two I had a few days of tongue and throat pain. I knew about the drying effect so I did drink a lot of water. After the first few weeks though, all that went away and now that I'm 6 weeks in, I don't have any effects like that. I was worried I was allergic to PG but really there was just an adjustment period. Hope that helps
