FYI- VG will mute your flavors. It may take a little extra steep time for the full flavor to surface. I have used all 3 of those flavors and they are not bad. Never had to go over 10% with any of them. You may have used too much flavoring as well. That can work the same as not using enough.

I began with 5% strawberry and have had to gradually adjust it up. I just had to keep going! lol

That combined is 15% diluted. That is a lot and may be why you are having to overcompensate on the strawberry flavoring.

That was suggested to me in these forums as a way to dilute the VG down and give flavors more of a "pop." I am open to ideas!! If you have seen any of my other threads in here, I am struggling big time with fruit flavors! Bakery and dessert styles I am pretty good with, I just can't get that "pop" that vendor juices have.

Have you thought of adjusting the ph by adding cider or an acid blend. This might help the strawberry.

More specifically? Again, I am open to ideas!! I made a 30ml bottle of the VG blend base that I mentioned just to test the waters. I will make another 30ml of another base tonight if you have an idea.

So I have found a mix that I really enjoy. I am at work, so I dont have the exact recipe with me, but the strawberry (from WL, I think it's Lor Anns) is mixed at 23% and is still not that strong. With the vanilla swirl and toasted marshmallow, I am over 26% flavor in this juice. Is that unheard of??

Loranne flavors usually require a lot of flavoring so it's not out of line. I don't care for loranne myself but that's just me.

Danny, after I got home, I updated that they were actually TFA. Weren't you the one that suggested the VG blend to me of 85vg, 6.5 saline, 6.5 dw, and 2 pga? This has been a great help to several other flavors!

Don't recall but my mix is usually 65vg/35pg and with the saline and new NIC I'm using getting the throat irratation under control I'm thinking of upping the PG content.

Heavy VG will cut flavoring substantially as will over flavoring. TFA Strawberry Ripe is optimal at 8-10% so anything over and you are doing the opposite of what you think will happen. Not only that it needs a day or so of steep to meld with other flavors like Marshmallow. If you use more then 5% Marshmallow you will have a hard time getting good flavor also. Every flavor needs to be mixed at it's optimal ratio so one flavor is not overpowering the others. So if I were you I would use 8% Strawberry, 5% Marshmallow and 3% Vanilla Swirl to start. Let it sit overnight and work from there.
