Too much nicotine?

Hi all!

Wasn't sure where to post this!

Basically been vaping for almost 2 years now I've gone through my fair share of different devices and what not but past few months have just been mostly dripping with my trident on my DNA30 anywhere from 20-30 watts. I vape around 8-10mg (was 8 but started smoking a bit again oh no!!!) back on 10mg since swearing off the analogs again which has been fine in my current set up.

Just got the Marquis RDA and absolutely loving it! The flavour and dense vape is exactly what I was looking for again as the trident wasn't hitting that sweet spot anymore! Anyway just got it today built it up been tooting on it for past few hours but been suffering with dizzy spells and heavy breathing / tight chestness. Now usually for me this means that I'm overdosing on the good old nicotine but I'm vaping the same 10mg juice I was on my trident earlier and at the same ohm 0.8 now my guessing is with the small chamber with the marquis and how dense the vape comes out that it's just concentrating that nicotine so much that the 10mg is making my body feel as if it was higher if that makes sense?

Just wanna know if anyone else has experienced this when they got the marquis or any new flavour chasing RDA before? I was also a little worried if I didn't wash the machine oil off properly but soaked it in hot soapy water with a bit of vodka too for a couple hours before using it. Usually I boil a new RDA but didn't want to risk any chance of messing this RDA up

6mg on my Subtank Mini makes me nic sick and 3mg can on my Aqua too if I'm chain vaping
your build has a lot to do with it, how you vape, and how much you're vaping
there's no single solution like with the old hardware, I keep 3 and 6 on hand, and wouldn't mind having a supply of 1.5 to go with it

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah I'm thinking its nic sick because it's a sick RDA! I have some 3mg made up on the side I may try dripping that and see if it helps

Maybe mixing two nic strengths of the same flavor to get a middle strength.

It's probably best to consult a physician, just to be safe. Dizziness, shortness of breath and chest tightness are three symptoms (especially in combination) that shouldn't be taken lightly.

im thinking about moving down my nic level. Over the last little while 6 has been making me not able to vape as much... I get a tightness in my throat, similar too but stronger than when I used to do the gum. usually only when i chain vape, which is when i am out, at work or whatever, i treat vaping like i would a cig. Go have a cig worth... and then finish.

Re wicked and used some 3mg juice I had and it seems to be better so I think it was just nic sick I'll see how I go on this and how I feel in the morning if not I may consult my doctors just incase or try boiling the atty incase any machine oil is still on there it didn't smell like it before I built it but you never know

Yeah this new gear is really good at vaporizing a lot of juice in a short amount of time
I smoke cigars and use nasal snuff. It's been a long time since I've felt nicotine at all, but I've been nic sick twice since I got new gear and am dialing in which strength juice I need. 3mg sounds crazy, I could vape 24 all day on my old gear. I also am the sort whose device is always in hand, so that's part of it too.

I know the feeling! I just built my newest RDA, a Wotofo Troll 1.5 with the "swirling air vents." Centered Dual 28g Kanthal popping .7 ohms. Whew!! After my second hit this morning, I had to literally go lie down! Nic sic like never before. I had to adjust the watts down and take short 1-2 second bursts on my 6 mg juice in order to enjoy it. New tech can be a game changer for sure! I gonna try 0 nic juice in it next time, and then maybe cut it with my six to find the sweet spot.

I've been vaping on and off with a Protank2 and a couple Evods over the past year using 18mg nic levels. A few weeks back I bought a Kayfun Lite (clone) and I immediately was hit hard by the nic levels. On my next juice order I dropped it down to 12mg. That wasn't enough and this weekend I went ahead and ordered my favorite juice at 6mg. Hopefully that will work out better.

i started out on 24mg, but then was getting the headaches etc....so i bought a bottle of 18 mg and found myself wanting to take a puff or two off an analog. So i mixed the two...since they was the same flavor, still wasn't feeling satisfied. So now i'm back at vaping 24mg's and no headaches this time...so guess i'm good. However, had my first vape dream last night and it's about 3 or 4am before i'm going to sleep.....however, i'm staying off the analogs....so who needs sleep?!!!
