Today is a sad day for me...I opened a box of analog...I can no longer vape. vaping leave a layer of don't know what in my mouth that causes really bad breath and the chronic dry mouth resulted in reclining gum line and tooth problem.

The taste of analog sux. I hate it. With vaping, I can taste and smell better. My stamina has improve greatly.

I drank a lot of water and use dry mouth rinse but they are no helping...

Please share tips on how you counter the tasty side of vaping.

Chances are, your gum problems are not directly related to vaping. It's very likely to be caused by your cigarette cessation.

Bleeding gums is a well known symptom for people who quit smoking. I'm one of them. I've switched to vaping full time for more than a year now and my gums are still bleeding whenever I brush my teeth. It'll even bleed when I say, suck on my teeth.

If you're really worried, visit a dentist, tell them about your smoking cessation, let them advise you.

Here's a list of symptoms compiled in ECF which may help you understand your problems better.

Visited a dentist already.

Did some sort of culture test for bacteria count or something.

Dentist told me to stop vaping for a while and see if the condition improved. He told me he has seen some patients who are also vaper that have the same problem. Chronic dry mouth and some goo that are on the tougue that is causing irritation.

I was told to keep the mouth wet by rinsing regularly. Was also given a bottle of mouth rinse that help increase saliva production.

That's very strange because apart from having to drink more water, vaping actually improved my breath and teeth.

Can the reclining gums be caused by something else? Has a doctor identify the cause behind the problems which you're facing?

Dude, receding gum line is because you are brushing with hard pressure... The only thing you can do is to visit a dentist who should be recommending, or even doing, a filling to cover it.

I'm pretty sure you actually see that the bristle on your toothbrush is actually getting bent out of shape within 6 months right? That is a sign that you are brushing too hard. Mine still looks as straight as new even after 8months.

How you prevent receding gum line is to just place the toothbrush and DO NOT use any pressure while brushing. You literally just place it on your teeth and just slide it WITHOUT applying any pressure. (You're brushing your teeth, NOT your clothes or the floor here.)

After that, ALWAYS make it a point to also brush your tongue AND lips at the end of the "session".. Again, NO pressure at all. Just let it slide.

Receding gum line can only be rectified with the filling done by the dentist, it can never grow again. Therefore, go have the filling done, and from then on, follow my brushing technique as advised above closely.

PS: Why brush your tongue? That's the reason for your bad breath. Trust me.. I know.. ;)

This is more than a week of no vaping for me.

I no longer have dry mouth. I will be adjusting my juice.

Now...as a pure vaper for more than a yr. I have this to say.

Does vaping have to quit smoking..

To Me..answer is yes.

Today, more than a week since I went back to analog, I still have a stick left in my packet. I was a 2 packs a day smoker before.

I am not able to finish a cigarette even. It is just 4 or 5 puffs to rid the urge of wanting something in my hand.

I cannot stand the taste and smell of cigarettes. I get a VERY BAD headache from smoking. The feeling is HORRIBLE!

There are days where I do not smoke even.

And I dun get the "high" from having my 1st stick of the day as well..

Yeah..vaping does help to curb smoking...

And vaping is MUCH easier to quit. I dun think there are any withdrawal symptoms from vaping...just the urge or habit of having something in the hand...
