took the plunge (purchased the Riva510)

So after some research, I decided to go with what was recommended to me here on this forum, which was the Riva510, from Liberty.

I am very excited.

However, not sure how I am going to get on with such a large device. So I have decided to go for a smaller one, actual cigarette size ( or a little bigger / longer)

Does anyone one have any suggestions for what to go for, for an e-cig of that type. I see some that actually look like real cigs - but are they just novelty, not producing a lot of vapor of TH.

I want something that actually works well too.

Once again, MANY thanks to the users on here, as it is only becasue of you that I will end up with my Riva

The Riva/eGo/Tornado et al, is a good way to go. A good compromise between battery life and size.
The standard mega 510 is not as big as the above but still gives a good 120mins of vaping per battery. It looks a little like the size of a 100mm superking.

The Riva was my first kit and I still love it! It's not as big and unwieldy as you think it is, but the battery will last a long time between charges. You could try a 510 Mega, which is a 280mah battery.

You might want to wait until your Riva arrives. It really isn't as big as it appears to be. If you do decide to get a smaller unit, look at the Joye 510. The parts are interchangable except for the battery and charger.

I purchased some e2 cartermisers for the 510 Riva, would they fit on the Joye 510.

Yup. If it's made for the 510 it'll fit on any 510 threaded model...510, Riva, eGo...

That is completely up to you, but then you may want to consider this:

How much do you currently smoke? If you smoke less than a pack per day, then the 510 might work for you. If you smoke more, you might want to consider the Riva. Smaller batteries aren't going to last as long and will require more recharging if you use them a lot. That's just the nature of the beast.

hmm, yeah. I just wanted something that would fit into a small pocket - for situations like, when I go down to the pub / bar.

That's why I was originally looking for something that was actually the size of a real cig, but do not want just a novelty thing, something that actually works well too

BTW, the 306 attys also fit the 510/riva/eGo batteries & are great for dipping,testing flavors,etc. The battery life for a 306 is probably the shortest of all e-cigs, but it's also the closest to a analog in size & feel.

The Joye 510 (maybe get a white one if you want it to sorta look like a cig) is the way to go. All the parts are interchangeable with the Riva. When you get tired of changing/charging batteries all the time, you'll be ready for the Riva. Or......really...the Riva is not that big. Wait and see......

I don't recommend the NJOY. I buy my 306 attys from Rocky Mountain Vapor, but if you're across the pond, you might try Janty. They call it a mini fogger, that being said, it hasn't been available at Janty USA for some time.

Again, being across the pond you might look at the Joye 520. I can't find them here, but there's a french ecig vendor that sells them(can't find the link) They're slim like a 306,but built like a 510.
FYI, the only difference in a 306 & 306A is battery life/length, 306A is shorter. I use the 306 attys with an eGo battery at home, out & about, I use the Boge 510 cartomizers so I don't have to mess with dipping. I hope this helps.

I just looked at the Janty Europe site & it looks like they still carry the kits,but may be out. You can,however buy the atomizers. Janty is a little high, but at least in the USA, their customer service & warranty are top notch.

I have both the 510 and a eGo which is like the riva you are getting, but I never use my 510 anymore, just have it for a back up, you get use to the bigger battery really quick, it really isn't that awkward.

I agree, my eGo is really not that big. An eGo and an extra cart are smaller than a pack of analogs and a lighter.
