After a couple of months using the Vision Spinner I was ready to take off the "training wheels" and upgrade. I looked and researched a lot and decided on the iTaste VTR, it's a fantastic mod!! I love the size, the weight, the way it fits my hand, pocket friendly, the VV/VW adjustments, the battery life, I love everything about it EXCEPT.........the way it vapes. With my Vision Spinner @ 4.5v-4.8v, BCC Mega tank, bottom feed clearo with a 2.5ohm single coil, 100% VG 18mg juice I got a really good chest hit, almost to the point you feel like your going to cough a little. Now that I've switched out the Spinner for the VTR I don't get that chest hit I love. The tank, coil, voltage, and juice has all stayed the same I just switched out the the main body. I've tried adjusting the voltage and the wattage but I've had no luck getting it to hit me in the chest like my Spinner did. Any ideas on what I can change in order to get that chest hit back? If I can't get it figured out, watch Craigslist or eBay for an almost brand new iTaste VTR for sale!!

I'm not familiar with the vtr first hand, though I considered buying one. If you have a different tank I'd suggest trying the same liquid with a different tank. The same liquid is different in each tank to a degree and I recently learned the same tank varies with different batteries. You would think that a battery at 4.0v is the same as another battery at 4.0v but it's not. Heck if I know why. Good luck

Bolivar.....thanks for the info, but I cant do menthol, not really ready or want to mess with dripping. I will try adding some PG to my juice. Any suggestions on the percentage ratio? Before the VTR came into the mix I went 100% VG and dropped from 24mg to 18mg because I don't like the itchy/irritating burn in the back of the throat and in order to cut out the analogs I needed to see huge amounts of vapor on the exhale.

Use your VTR and check the Ohms on your coil. Even tho it sez its a 2.5 ohm, it's probably not. If it's in the 2.4 to 2.6 range, I use 3.8 to 4.1 volts. If it's in the 2.6 to 3.0 range, I would go with 4.2 to 4.5 volts. I use a 50/50 juice at 12mg nic and get great flavor, nice throat and chest hit. JMHO, YMMV.

Not an expert by any means, but have you tried switching from voltage to Wattage?? I found that going from 4.3v to say 9.5 watts made the difference in consistant throat hit, and improved on the Tank issues I was having on my MVP2. That lesson learned made everything a smooth transistion when I got my VTR.. I still had to dial in certain flavors, but the throat hit never left, If I where in your shoes I'd give that a try before you get rid of your VTR...
