The diameter stays remarkably constant. ;) 1.3 mm every time.

What tools do you guys use? Anything awesome? Am I just a nerd? lol

Nothing really awesome,but:

Flat and pointed tip ceramic tweezers
Lighted, magnifying visor
Xcelite shear cutters (nice small business end for trimming excess wire from coils)
Coil winding jig (I have two different ones, still trying to decide which I like the best)
Atomizer resistance tester
Small butane torch
Dental pick

I think that's about it...

For those of us who are cartotank users, a Slap Yo Moma tank tool is indispensible. Not only does it save wear & tear on the tank's o-rings, it makes setting up and refilling the tank super easy and fast. Found at Big Daddy Vapor.

Holy crap a three and a half minute P Busardo review!!! I never thought I would see the day!

When filling a carto, I use a wood tooth pick placed into the air hole. This keeps juice from entering the air hole when dripping juice into the top of the carto. This eliminates having to blow out the juice after the carto is primed.[/QUOTE]

I think I'm going to run to harbor freight and get the magnifying glass thing some of you guys are talking about. I live literally less than ONE mile from a harbor freight, and everytime I go in there, I notice it, but never pick it up.

I really need it for wrapping w/ 28g....because after I wrap about 5 wraps or so, I can't see how many wraps it is...even if I try and count it again and again, just too small for me to see.

One hobby brings about the hobby of collecting accessories for that hobby, so other tools required for this trade are a couple of Plano boxes for storing all the basic paraphernalia at hand (spare batteries, Q-tips, pipe cleaners, alcohol, spare atomizers, etc.). One in the cupboard for maintenance and one on the bottom shelf of the desk for quick fixes while typing replies on ECF.
