Why don't you wait a while?

The Asmodus will be releasing a new version of their snowwolf early next year and the sx mini ML class is slated to be available by the end of this month.

joyetech will also be pushing out new colours for their eVic vtc mini.

Not to mention, more dna 200 boards will be released in time to come.

If you need a mod to tide you through, get the eVic.

ipv D2 is cheaply made and very inaccurate.

Meanwhile, if you're really in need of a Mod, get the eVic vtc mini.

here there everywhere
If you are really into experimenting with settings to customize the experience, i would say go for the Vaporshark DNA200 or any DNA 200 Device.

I was recommended the Vaporshark because of zip charging and boy does it make a difference.. I have not had to charge up my mod overnight at all. Even when its at 2%.

DNA devices are mostly LIPO except for the 18650 ones which go to 133. Battery life is better than i had expected. I generally vape about 55W and temp set at 480F.
I can last a day with heavy vaping and about 3 tanks in the Uwell crown before i plug it an for about 1-1.5 hours and am back in action.

Really cant wait as I need it ASAP. I've been smoking a pack daily for 2 days now plus tmr. Which is really bad. I already have ipv3 li in mind. Now 50/50 already. Thinking of Shark DNA. Haiz. ....

^ hafta agree with naughtyclown. The IPV4S is meant to be your AK-47 for the upcoming vapocalypse. Simple, fairly rugged build (yes i've spilled juice all over the damned thing before) dual 18650 with nickel, ti, TC. The battery life will last you virtually forever. Relatively simple internals. Take care of it and it will go on and on and on. The day comes when they seal borders and stage a massive vaping crackdown I'll be in my storeroom with 20 spare batteries, DIY juice and this baby.

Sure seems to be a lot of love for the IPV4s in here. It's an OK mod, but the fact that they haven't issued a firmware update in 4 months, to give us adjustable TCR's and a S.S. mode, kinda sucks imho. most temp control box mod makers are doing a MUCH better job of supporting their tech after the sale, than this company.

Lol.. I guess I shoulda put a smiley face on there. It's not like you've done anything wrong. I just want folks who look in on this thread to know. An adjustable TCR allows for the possibility of a better wire in the future (NiFe52 has already been identified) to be accomodated in TC mode.

Don't get me wrong, it is a VERY good mod. The TC in Ti mode is about as good, reliable, and fast as I have seen. I just wish they would keep the firmware up to date, because it is going to become obsolete much too fast otherwise. Likely, that is what they are hoping but people get tired of that game, and catch on to who is playing it, after awhile.

Not sure if you realize, but, same boat. The IPV3's are shipping with even older firmware, and no updates are available. So no TCR, and no stainless steel or NiFe52 support.

How come nobody mentioned the Hcigar VT40?

DNA40 chip is awesome, beautiful screen and the build quality is top notch.

Size wise is subjective to individual preference, but to me its perfect. Nice grip and fits in my pockets perfectly. Rather important if you are a heavy vaper and always bring it along with you everywhere.

Priced quite reasonably too, not too expensive like the SX Mini.

Tank wise, I've had experience with the kanger subtank, zephyrus, goblin mini and TFV4.. all have its own merits but one major turnoff for me is that all of them leaks for one reason or another.

Best tank, non leak and great airflow that I would recommend, is the Billow V2.
