Weird, right? Me, too!

I have to wonder if it has to do with eating those licorice bits as a kid. They tasted terrible, but I kept trying to eat them because I received them as a gift. Snus is...different. As is anise. It dances towards licorice but never reaches it.

Want my Oompa? That was the only one I didn't care for...I don't like milk chocolate flavors. The rest are BANGIN'!!!

I'd take it off your hands, but even I didn't fully enjoy it at first -the cocoa was at the front. Aging made this one shine (ok, it steeped 3 days) and then, satisfied the balance was there, I decided to mix it with Red Pirate. The cocoa was pushed to an undertone, but the push of the red pirate and eventual ACID Blondie I threw in caused the whole thing to level out. I don't get why I love chocolate but have a fair amount of difficulty with chocolate vapes, this one was actually vapeable to me...a pleasant surprise. It was like creating some kind of cigar on cocoa crack or something.

Their Analog Mild is quite a mysterious juice. I am VERY surprised more people don't vape it.
It edges towards Morely and stops immediately. It would be very interesting with a pipe tobacco thrown in, or even with a nutty undertone. Most definitely it would enhance any RY4 immediately and add a different dimension to 555.

How do you order from this site? Is it up again?
Best bet is to email Ethan at help [at] vapelicious [dot] com right now. Site's still down, so I assume that means he received [and is maybe still receiving] a ....-ton of orders and is mixing like a mad-man to get them all sent out.
P-38 is off the charts!!!!!!!!! I am vaping Tobacco Road right now, but then again, I always vape it!
I really do enjoy Tobacco Road as well, but I would like it better if it was punchy rather than dry. The trick with this one is to apply plenty of wattage and lean towards the high end of the nicotine spectrum.
Casa is very unique, but I love my Bacco, 555 Exotic, and my close to 60mL of RY4
I've never tried the Bacco or 555 Exotic. The RY4, the last time I tried it, tasted like...well, iced tea to me. It didn't feel like an RY4, really, but the Ejoker was truly something special and spicy in a nice way.
Please let me know about TPR.
Most certainly, it's been in the shipping facility for days for some reason. I have quite a spectrum coming, and I'm also trying to pin down whether it's the VG or PG giving me issues. I have a sinking feeling it's actually the PG, which would mean these blends will give me less problems. Could be I'm just not drinking enough water while vaping, but my sinuses have gone haywire since I started.

Great post!

Thank you! I always try to be detailed about things that really stand out to me as impressive, but all things aside, HHV makes the most vapeable blends I've tried. I am all about complexity. I love simple blends, but give me something I have to try and figure out what flavors are in it- any day of the week. Heck, that's why I love these vendors so darned much.

Why thank you...I've heard others explain a similar thing. Sounds like our "eating" palates and "vaping" palates are alike in some ways!

I do have one RY4 that I like but its very mild on the tobacco mostly other flavors...I've only tried one other RY4 (on several recommendations that it was one of the greats from one of my top 5) and I really didn't like it. So I don't think its the tobacco I like...which is why the RY4 I like isn't on anyone's top list. I'm very hesitant to try other baccos since I found that I really didn't like the second RY4 from the other vendor. But I guess for less than a pack of TCs I probably could, I suppose I could always trade it away if I don't like it??

Yea...really sounds like it sucks  I peeked at your profile because I was trying to see a bigger pic of your avatar and looks like you've had some experience in this "life" love to see some of you stuff in bigger pictures!

The life of an artist sucks! All the wine, cheese and crakers, and hangin' out with other artists and musicsican gets old...or so I've heard! lol.

haha, you're funny. I've spent 24 hours of the last 48 with my nose burried in Photoshop, Hexagon, Daz Studio, and XNormal. (mostly photoshop) If I'm having a good month I make about 1/2 minimum wage. Yes, that raman gets old.

Yes, but as the saying goes...if you do what you love you'll never work a day in your life!!! Me, I always work...hahahahahaha

Only Highbrow I can recommend is Orange Sangre w/green tea

Agreed!
I tried their Apple and Blueberry. Lame. I won't finish the bottles.
I also bought Strawberry Lemonade. The lemon part of it was okay, but there wasn't a single trace of strawberry that I could taste.
I read elsewhere that Highbrow's products are either good or mediocre.

I was shocked to see Copper Creek this far down the list. I agree with several of the top vote-getters, but I've found CC to have extremely high quality juice. Also, they were voted (I believe) the #2 favorite vendor of 2011 in a poll on here. I think they need to make more noise.

For those who haven't tried their juice, you should give it a shot.

I'm with you on Copper Creek. Great juices (though I wasn't crazy about their coffee) and fantastic customer service.
Check this out: she'll include a sample, fresh made, to whatever options you had specified in your order! I never understood why some vendors include a sample in a lower or higher nicotine content than what you've ordered.

I was doing just fine until I started reading this thread. I went ahead and bought so much juice from so many vendors. The ones that their names come up the most on this thread. Now I have about 100 or so bottles of juice which I absolutely hate. I can not believe the hipe about some of these companies. Thier juices are just aweful.

AMEN!!!

I've paid good money for juice that should have been more honestly labeled as mystery syrup. A lot of vendors (not all) are flat out cashing in on the fact that vaping hasn't yet gone 'prime time' or mainstream, and are selling swill, at worse, or flavorings that anyone can buy off the shelf, at best. There simply aren't any standards. Whether or not you like blueberries (for example), a blueberry should taste like a blueberry. One source might be a little sweeter, another more tart. But there are universal standards as to what a particular thing should taste like. Not so with many of e-juices manufacturers.

I'm also less than happy about the old "taste is subjective" nonsense. On some level taste is indeed subjective - but good is good and bad is bad. I don't like eating seafood, but I can recognize and acknowledge a quality seafood dish. Selling someone a sub par product while hiding behind the taste is subjective excuse is more than offensive. I smoked cigars for 44 years - and during that time, the vast majority of cigars I tried didn't fit my personal flavor standards. However, I was still able to recognize that a particular cigar was of high quality (or not). Can you imagine what it would be like if cigarettes were manufactured and marketed like e-juice? My goodness! Trying to find a cigarette you'd actually like would so difficult, hardly anyone would smoke! :)

I'm looking forward to a time when vaping becomes less cult-like, more widely accepted, and attracts big business capital - which would surely cause an evolutionary shake-up, where only the best vendors and products will survive.

Sorry for the rant - but I'm doing everything I can to not smoke ever again, and I'm frustrated by money I've wasted with e-juices that continue to find their way into the NYC sewer pipes.

Favorites are one thing, but "best" would be difficult because many people love one vendor for completely different offerings. Send me a PM with what particular kind of flavors you naturally gravitate towards and I can only comment on BWB and MsT's, or you can edit your post with that info and ask for PMs. With a vendors like MsT's and Vaporbomb (not with BWB and SV) they have way too many flavors for anyone to qualify the "best" out of their whole line up (you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that has tried them all that doesn't work for them). You could also call or email the vendors and ask for their most frequently purchased juices and that may lead you to some sort of "best".

Great advice! Thank you!

Hey, sorry to edit such a post with a small quote, but are you interested in cigar flavors? There is a lot out there that do fine good job at it.

Thank you Mr. Mann! I enjoy your posts for your insights, advice, and humor!

I'm grateful for your offer - and I might take you up on it one day. I haven't been vaping for too long, but in that time, I've avoided looking for cigar flavors - maybe because I'm still working past the addiction. I not only smoked cigars, but regrettably, I inhaled them :( Thank goodness for the miracle of vaping - and for ECF and all of it's members!!!! :)

I've also got to agree with what you, and many of my fellow vapors have stated with regard to the things we enjoy consuming as opposed to the things we enjoy vaping. The experience of smoking cigars might not be at all like the experience of vaping a cigar flavor. Having said that (and at the risk of self-contradiction), I've actually enjoyed some 'cigarette' flavors - and am now steeping bottles I've just purchased (based on ECF posts) from BWB, Halo, Vaper Station and Vaperite.

Please keep up the great posts! I sincerely appreciate it!
Cheers!

Highbrow - Menthol tobacco - yuk Cappucino Diablo - not good but maybe I'll give it another shot now that it has steeped a while? Dark Chocolate Mint - VERY Good

CigEasy - Coffee - awful

Backwoods Brew Espresso - yuk
Backwoods Brew Menthol Blast -not impressed

Wicked Vapor Cappuccino - OK

Mountain Oak Vapors : Coffee - meh, Cloverfield - pretty good
Sweet Water - excellent

Have ordered some samples from Heather's Heavenly Vapes - hope I like them :)

It sounds like you're looking for a good coffee flavor. I strongly recommend Virgin Vapor's Espresso, Turkish Coffee, Coffee Monkey, and Kona Coffee flavors. I'm a coffee freak and they're the best I've found so far.

I'd love to hear follow-up after you've tried Heather's Heavenly Vapes. I almost ordered from their site but I decided against it because I don't want to get any more juices that I can't stand. I haven't seen anyone review their coffee flavors yet.

I have to disagree because while I detest Highbrow Vapor juices, I recognize that they are high quality products. There really is a great deal of subjectivity involved when it comes to taste buds. I honestly don't know how anyone can eat liver but some people actually love it. Go figure.

On the other hand, I've had my share of downright disgusting juices that were obviously NOT high quality and it was obvious from the get-go. Those I just tossed in the trash.

I only have 3 favorite vendors:
Virgin Vapor Kona Coffee Milkshake, Kona Velvet Milkshake & Caramel Kona Milkshake
Copper Creeks Passion Fruit
Vape A Licious Peach Bellini Tea
I don't like any of these when I first get them, so I order them far enough in advance to let them steep for a month.
I've heard some wonderful things about Ahlusions, and I have an order on the way.

I think you and JerryB are essentially saying the same thing. You both are making the point that taste, in and of itself, is subjective; but, having good taste is more of an objective quality not shared by all. Good taste is not necessarily a matter of liking this or that, but the ability to discern craft from trash and what's in between. However, we all have our own specific codes that need to be unlocked and sometimes the strangest sources posses the key.

I had about 7 vendors I used. Then it was to where it was becoming way more complicated than smoking ever was. Settled on two flavors from Virgin Vapor and that's all I need anymore. One (Bella Amaretto) is my all day every day and Peach/Vanilla for every once in awhile or when the BA is getting low and I am waiting on an order and don't want to run out completely. If there is any better, it's not enough to make me want to bother confusing things even more. I have a box of failed flavors that I give away to keep friends out of my two favorites.
