Hello Mr. Mann,

That is a Fender American Standard P-bass

When I first saw your list I was thinking of how everything on there was a favorite of mine at one point (though I don't know Vaporboost.) That's when I the final 4! LOL. 4 strings, baby! This is my AS J-Bass (my P is a '78; it's just so damned heavy! LOL).

Anyway, thanks for dropping your list and I hope to see you around. BTW, what are you vaping from w2v? What about HHV? TPR? Halo?

That is an awesome bass. You're right, quite heavy. Mine is a late '80s with a short scale. Still heavy. That's the reason I mostly use my 1964 Hagstrom Kent bass; a lot lighter and has the best neck I've played on a bass.

Well... you are "kind of" responsible for my choice in e-liquids. :) Thank you.
A few months ago, when I gave up cigarettes (for good), the juices from my first vendor (777) were nothing to brag about.
Then I found this incredible forum and I spent countless hours reading the threads on NETs. Reading thru your posts (and others) I've got educated on what to look for in a quality juice. You see, I've always enjoyed good quality tobacco, in my cigarettes or in my pipe. I smoked exclusively European cigarettes (Rothmans, Dunhill and Davidoff) and pipe tobaccos from Stokkebye, Mac Baren and McClelland. Since I had a few pounds of the above mentioned pipe tobaccos on hand, a month or so ago, I ventured in DIY NET extractions. Again, I have to credit this forum for the education received. My NETs are steeping properly and soon I'll be mixing.

I've tried a few things from w2v, but settled for the London and Paris, from their signature blends. I think both make a close substitute to an analog, down to the bitter taste of ash. RockStar is also decent.
I adore HHV's tobacco juices: Dark Horse, Huntsman, Legend and Dragon's Fire. Also like: Heavenly Army (close to Legend), Pirate's Booty, Sludge and Serendipity (long steeping on this one).
TPR is a cut above when it comes to customer service, etc. I really like the Honey-Fig Tobacco, Candied Cavendish and Burley & Candy (a little too sweet). The Smooth & Mild Tobacco makes a good daily vape, and I enjoy once in a while the Magic Melon Medley. With my last order, TPR sent a sample of their Cinnamon Sweetroll, and I must say it is great (I'm usually not a big fan of bakery flavors).
Halo was the first online order I've made when I ventured into vaping. I got their G6 starter kit and the tobacco sampler. Include in that sampler where Torque56 and Midnight Apple. To this day I still like these two.

I've learned about Vaporboost by chance. They are a relatively new vendor from Illinois. I decided to give it a try and I like what I've got so far. They seem to be very professional, the e-liquids are made in the US, and the bottles arrived properly labeled, including all the warnings, ingredients and best by date (similar to Halo). I have to add, they are trying something new: a "homeopathic" approach on three of their e-liquids. Zen - a stress reducer, Stamina - for energy and Sweet Dreams - sleep aid (only available nicotine free). Something new, I guess. Unfortunately no NETs from them.

Great feedback!
Exactly how I started, with Halo G6 and a variety of juices. And yes Torque 56 and Midnight Apple are faves among the rest. I got the tobacco sampler pack also and most were acceptable, tho not like any analog. Then I ventered off and got Cafe Mocha and well, we won't go there. It was quite ugly to my taste budds. :)

I consistently read good things about The Plume Room so I may have to sign up. Thanks

Thanks Tex.
When I received the sampler from Halo, I didn't care much about the Torque. Initially Turkish, Longhorn and Midnight Apple were my faves. Two weeks later the Torque opened up nicely and vaped like a dream. Now I found Turkish and Longhorn slightly nauseating.
The Plume Room juices are great, however, somewhat on the sweet side. They do require a longer steeping IMO. These juices reached a great level of complexity in about five weeks.

So here we are a year later....

1)Ahlusion--still my main number one. Strawberry perfection in many decadent flavors. My comfort vapes, and great people through and through. For well over a year I only ordered from Ahlusion...and then it happened....

VAPE...BAR

2) VapeRite--I actually have read about them off and on over the years vaping, and then a co-worker mentioned she was heading over there to see what they were about. She had a very positive experience and I, being the curious Cinnamonkey I have always been headed over there to see just what was up. Color me impressed. Purple Haze, Smaug's Horde, Red Riding Hood, Hazy Red, and Strawberry Pixie made their way home with me. The staff at their establishment was as helpful as an individual needs them to be...they walked the newbies through step by step and patiently answered questions and once letting several of them know my husband and I were fairly old vaping hats, they let us peacefully browse their selections and eventually we made our way to the bar and tried quite a few samples. I truly enjoyed myself and can definitely see my husband and I making another 30 minute trip down there in the near future.

VapeRite and Ahlusion...that's it..I'm drawing the line at 2. You could not mistake either of them for the other. They each carry their own line of individually unique juices and complex flavors and the ones I am interested in and have tried, I have enjoyed immensely. Due to concerns with upcoming legislation and always being prepared, I wanted to have a local carrier of good liquids and products just in case and I feel that the mission has been accomplished.

Now...if Ahlusion ever decided to plop a Vape Bar in the metro-Atlanta area (preferably in the Northside to avoid pesky I285 traffic).....I can't lie, I would just be back to 1. Then I would get a job there and let them just pay me in Blueberry Vanilla Cake and Strawberry (insert juice here)--Pink Label.:hubba:

:(
LOL... that's awesome... I hope johnnyBlaze reads that

The hardware is relatively new...

I was a bit surprised to see Halo take that route too... but lots of kr808 lovers out there and one of the most popular introductory models... maybe Halo was thinking about getting customers earlier.

I do like puresmoker's rebranded stuff... a bit more money for a lot more style...
If I actually liked Kr808 stuff, I think I'd buy from Halo... it's also sharp and competitive price with the major commercial dealers.

Sorry i'm trying to understand. sorry for my ignorance, but what is Kr808?:(

It's a certain type of threading on the connectors.

These are adapters here (to help convert one threading to another), but they can give you an idea of what the threads are like:

The Kr 808s are primarily on cig-a-like batteries. For the most part, 510 connections are the universal standards, though you may still here of 808s and 901s. Chances are though, 510s will be all you end up using in the long run.

All that may look like a lot of info, but most of it is vestiges from vaping's past.

I have to say i must be the exception .I started with kr808's and I still use em .I was going to try Halo's but their version of the 808 variable volt batteries i have are not as strong and dont go as high as mine .I bought adaptors forever ago so i do have that option but I'm happy .I have tanks for them and carts for them and that gives me enough variety to get me thru for any occasion :)
SO, my point is they may not be as fancy as you eventually want to get but for me ,i'm happy .My vv's last me all day out and about and when i want to be more discreet i carry the small cig style with me :vapor:

I began similarly and have no qualms with anyone staying with KR808s. Even still, 510s are quite literally the most universally used -- and that has little to do with fancy, it's just a common threading. But my post was also meant to show one that an adapter can take one threading and make it compatible with a 510. Win/Win.
