1) Kick Bass Vapor
2) Ms. T's Bakery
3) Virgin Vapor
4) The Vapor Room
5) Vermillion River

plus I need to add 2 more...

6) Halo
7) alien Visions

Honestly though... each of the above vendors also have liquids I can't stand. As well as flavors I can't live without! Taste is SO SUBJECTIVE

I do think that all 7 of them work really hard to make good recipes and stand behind their products. After that, it all comes down to what your own taste buds are happy with

It's only been a couple months but already sick of hearing "taste is subjective" every 2.783 posts and propose to retire the phrase already. (nothing towards you, the BOLD letters just reminded me) When you go out to eat with friends or family and everyone orders something different do we (people with taste buds) all sit around saying "I can't believe you don't like blah blah blah, it's my favorite dish here!" followed by "well remember taste ISSSSS subjective!" ????? I've never heard it used to explain or justify why you love what makes me gag or vice-versa. Don't we accept that people like what they like and they are who they are? To each his/her/their/it's own...Not sure why the need to throw the term around so much...WE ALL KNOW already! Even prior to vaping isn't thought the concept of the phrase understood even before we were old enough to know what the word "subjective" meant? I think it's more of an online thing and probably in more common in the vaping community since we rely heavily on reviews and advice from others to transition smoothly from smoking, BUT STILL...

Thanks Jerry!!!
I did forget to mention my favorite from EcBlend its their Signature Series Dragons Leaf, And their Dragons Delight. i like the mix of half and half its scrumious. And their RY4 is good as well.
I find that what i like others may not but i have bought a few from ECblends that just hate so its trail by error.
I have been told that you need to change flavors so you don't get burned out and return to smoking. I love Pomegranate, I think i like the sweet and a bit of tart.
I go to these when i feel i can't taste anything and they work pretty well for me.
Bahama mama
Pina colada
Crazy Citrus
Pineapple Mango

Some of the ones i don't like are
Strawberry kiwi
Dragons milk i think its because of the cinnamon
Texas pecan pie just the smell of it vaping makes me want to throw up.
Sweet Virginia i just got it today and its not for me but maybe i need to let it sit.

I wish i had a Vaporstore here maybe i could vape a few before buying and save some money.lol

Disclaimer: This post is not about picking your's apart, but more of me thinking through this for myself.

1a) "Friends or family" are completely different than posting on an open forum with people you don't really know. On a forum, sometimes it is really hard to properly contextualize intentions and tones, therefore the inevitable bickering and squabbling takes place due misunderstandings or just insensitivity to individual circumstances and experiences.

1b) The phrase "taste is subjective" in the context of this forum is vastly different than that of the culinary world. There are in fact standards, maybe not rules, but clear markers that have been set by many chefs, critics, and "foodies" for so long that it is a bit of cop-out to say "taste is subjective" when referencing why someone likes to eat well-done (leather) steak, over medium-rare. Even still, if that grosses you out, whether you say it or not, the thought crosses the mind, "different strokes for different folks" or "to each his own"--it's really all the same thing.

1c) The eliquid market is so young, there are really no official taste testers, critics, or a consensus on how something is supposed to taste, let alone how something is supposed to be made. There really is nothing objective about it, as far as taste.

I've never heard it used to explain or justify why you love what makes me gag or vice-versa. Don't we accept that people like what they like and they are who they are?

2a) Yes, we all should accept what people like and it be okay. The problem is that when on a forum, members often times make broad, sweeping proclamations like "Ahlusion eliquid is better than NLV will ever be" or "NLV juice tastes on par with cheap, mall kiosk e-cig liquid." When you are a fan of NLV, generally the only thing that can keep you restrained from wanting to flip out is saying to yourself that tired, but true, mantra of "taste is subjective."

2b) Lastly and most importantly, I think the phrase is used primarily as a disclaimer to deny any responsibility. How many times have we all waisted our money based on someone else's taste? Most reviews in this game all translate into "go buy this" or "don't buy that." I used to think the phrase "taste is subjective" was pointless, until I started doing reviews and getting less than appreciative feedback about my recommendations. Now I may not say that exact phrase, but I sure as hell will imply it! CYA

p.s. Is the phrase overused? Yes. Do I understand why? Yes.

I'm boring! After spending tons of $ at the beginning on highly recommended juices, I found only ONE that I didn't end up getting sick of before only 1/4 of the bottle was used: V4L Cinnamon Roll. Very mild and non-clogging. I vape it exclusively now for 10-12 months (I forget when!) and hope and pray that they never have stocking issues with it. Whats nice about having only one preferred flavor is that I don't have to have a case full of cartos and juices anymore. Just my batteries, blanks and my stock of cinnamon roll.

Oh my. Not for me. Sure I have my go to liquid but there are just way too many excellent flavors out there. Exploration for my taste buds.

"What and where" were the tons of money spent that left you relying on V4L? Please, can you tell me what vendors you have tried and what kind of device, very important, you are using.

p.s. I doubt if you are boring, you probably have just made a few turns that lead you to poor(er) choices for your situation. Maybe simple, is a better word.

I don't remember them all, I got rid of my storage box and juices some time ago. Along with samples given out for free with my order I'd estimate I have 'tried' about 60 different flavors. I think that for me, unlike many people who vape, the flavor aspect actually becomes unpleasant. Decent TH and extremely mild flavoring is what I ended up gravitating toward. I think simple is a great word for it overall because from the outset my entire focus was on finding 'my perfect vape' so I didn't have to fuss with it. Putting me very much out of the hobbyist zone and into the 'momwhodoesn'thavetimetomesswiththingsbutwantstostayoffofanalogs' zone.

Got it, Linden. I never thought I would utter anything remotely close to this, but, hooray for V4L. That one hurt! LOL. Cheers. Oh wait, you're in Michigan? Relax Mr. Mann, she doesn't need your help! hahahaha

I don't have a top 5 yet, only been at this a month and I've only sampled a few of the vendors on the list here. It will probably be at least another couple of weeks or more (once some more samples come in) before i would feel comfortable saying a vendor deserves a top 5 spot for me.

Nevertheless, I'm really enjoying this thread and I've read every reply to date. I also eagerly await every update to the list, and plan on sampling at least the top 10 if not the top 20 on the list.

You're right and I understand why it's used so often but it still doesn't make it any less annoying. There are many other ways to get the same point across without repeating it over and over - all I'm suggesting is using your own like you do. The restaurant was just the first thing that came to mind I didn't mean it as a reference to the culinary industry standards. All I'm saying is i think people keep saying it because they saw someone else say it and think it's cool haha...

anyways I saw a few pages back someone mention Elixirliquid - they are one of my local vendors and someone mentioned their RY4. It isn't anything like any other RY4 I've tried which isn't many cause I'm not huge on tobacco, but I see you are a tobacco vaper and if you haven't tried it yet I'd be happy to send you the rest of the bottle of 24mg. Its like a kick in the face to me. It is a china juice, but this vendor does have some unique flavors I like. LMK.
