Sorry to hear about your experience with this particular order.
At least he didn't say (wait for it): "taste is subjective".
Kudos to this vendor for not making the assumption that his clients are fools.
Hell Yeah! The fact that he wanted to know every little detail about what I was experiencing says a lot. I just got finished writing another email in response to another one of his. It literally has been a lot of typing between us both. Not once, and I mean not once did he hint at it being my hardware, my palate or my perception. If he would have said "you probably should drink some water," I would have screamed! LOL. Nope. He wanted to figure it out because he wants his product to be A-1...maybe that is the Marine coming out?!
On three occasions, with three different vendors (who I won't name) when I complained about problems with their flavors, they took a position of integrity and honor, and offered me a refund. Unfortunately, most other vendors I've had problems with, put the onus squarely on me... it was my fault that their products tasted poorly.
I think vendors need to understand that it is of no interest to us (at least most of us) to find fault with their juice; all we want is what we have had or what is promised/sold to us. Anytime a vendor hears me out and truly cares enough to correct the matter, they have in essence done more for their business than just getting it right the first time. Going extra miles speaks volumes more than just having a good juice.
I told him in an email today that I had never thought I could be pleased with a displeasing order, but he made it possible. The owner of Ahlusion obviously embraces the age old credo that the customer is always right.
I was planning on ordering from them anyway, but having read this, I'll place that first order even faster - if for no other reason than to give them a vote of confidence. I will always support vendors who operate professionally, ethically and responsibly. If I don't happen to like an eliquid from a particular vendor, no harm done, and I'll happily write off the cost - just as long as the vendor takes a position of responsibility on behalf of their customers.
Oh No! What a disappointment for you. We ALL know (sheesh, believe me how well we all know ROFL) how much you were looking forward to this. Are you using new clean whatever-they-ares? No clogs or burning wicks in the equation in your haste to go into a vape coma? What is the off-putting taste/smell you're getting? I was just commenting on another question that I tried ECBlends New Red Box" and yes, it did smell like burning - but it was the burnt smell of scorched ironing! Am letting it sit for awhile. But as you say, your e-juice wizard Wlad is already on it, which is a great sign of a good vendor.
It's not that disappointing...I think I have a couple bottles of juice somewhere around here. LOL! No, it wasn't the hardware. I put the first batch up to the second batch and it was clear that the two were going in different directions. Some may say the steeping changed the first, but that just isn't the case. The steeping didn't alter the flavor or the smell, it just sort of rounded out some of the rougher tobacco corners. This batch of tobaccos tasted like something didn't happen that was supposed to happen in the production. We're all human and things happen, luckily he treated me like he valued my business and my opinion. For what it's worth, I would buy from Ahlusion again with zero hesitation.
