Unfortunately I have had to reconfigure my list. My initial reasoning for adding a vendor to my list of top 5 was that they had to produce at least 3 juices that I loved. Well, two of my top 5 has just not been quite satisfying my ever changing palate (just like my ever changing paint palette). Not only are two of the vendors not on my list anymore, two of my top 5 (HHV, GeJ) are producing at least 5 juices that I need to have. So instead of listing the order of top 5 vendors, my new criteria is that I have to have at least love 5 juices from said vendors. I will not specifically say which vendors are off the list, I will instead add the new vendors once I have figured out who those vendors are. Back to the drawing board!

p.s, Just because I am taking off two vendors from my list does not mean I have changed my feelings about the quality of their product, it's just that they are not a part of my MFRP (most frequently repeated purchases) anymore. The more I vape, the more I am growing weary of lab juices, so while a juice may be of the utmost quality, the majority of lab juices are just tasting too "engineered" for me now.

I am really suprised there is only one mention of Copper Creek. Maybe because she's not the cheapest.
I only have 2 vendors
Copper Creek
Virgin Vapor

I have tried Highbrow and it was extremly dyr to me. I ordered 80/20 and then ordered 50/50 and it was just too dry. I love their flavors. Does ordering more like 30/70 or 100% vg make the dryness go away?

Good question! I don't think it has to do with VG because I always order the most VG when I can choose the ratios and on the ones that seem too dry, I was thinking I should add a drop or two of PG wondering if that would make them better? What should we use to "doctor up" a flavor when it seems to dry?

This is a great thread, just came back to it. I just ordered from NLV. I'm looking for a juice that isn't so "dry". Copper Creek remains #1 for me. Going to check out Mountain Oak. Recently tried Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Mocha Capaccino, very sweet right out of the box, letting it steep.

Can't go wrong with NLV

Well, that all depends. Maybe in this particular case, but, while I find NLV to be of high quality, I don't see the majority of the juices I've tried (Bounty Hunter, Gold, Line Rider, Maverick, Renegade, Twilite) as being much more than above average juice. To me, NLV is good and a "safe" choice, but I just don't quite "get" the flavors. I think Gold is the best I have had from NLV and I will keep it around just in case I get a complex sweet tooth. Once again, NLV is fine, but IMO not much more than another qood vendor. Maybe I am just not into all that sweetness...especially when it comes under the guise of tobacco. Who knows, maybe I will eventually love it above all others....I will wait and see...I reserve the right to change my mind on anything.

Okay, so after yesterday's post, I decided to give one NLV flavor (Gold) a chance to be vaped all day. I began by vaping it intermittently and then moved on to nothing but Gold. After several hours of it, at some point I had actually looked to see if I had accidentally dripped a tobacco juice in my atty...nope! It was just Gold. This is definitely more than sweet! It is initially sweet, but it starts to reveal itself upon more and more inhales. What it reveals is sweetnesss (of course), spice, complex patterns of flavor notes and colors beyond what I initially detected. Gold is quite the transformer. Gold is above, above average--it is approaching "must have" status! I will give Line Rider another go tomorrow under the same circumstances. I guess the old adage is true about giving things a fair shot!

Yo Kemo, good looking out, Sherlock Holmesboy!

p.s. I do taste a bit of tobacco in here ...which is still bugging me out! Good Job NLV!

LOL. Those flavors that surface are exactly what ended up turning me off the Gold. I particularly dislike the fake tobacco flavor present in both the Gold and Twilite. Guess I'd rather vape their plain sweet flavors.

Yeah, I totally get what you are talking about, but Gold has worked for me and subsequently won me over. (Plus, the "tobacco" is really just that spice note, I think it balances the sweetness.) I tried and tried with BH (also with Maverick and Renegade) but they never tasted like...well, anything really. I mean, it was not bad, but it wasn't much lip smacking followed by contemplative thoughts after I vaped it. I like layers and surprises and to me Gold has it (for now). While I am going to give Line Rider another chance (and also Twilite), those juices really didn't say much to me to begin with. I will keep asking though. I promised myself that I would vape these entire bottles to see if I ever grow accustomed to the profile or whether I need to just move on. I think certain vendors deserve that much...I mean, those juices aren't low grade or anything, but I did'nt get the greatness in any respect...yet?! Maybe they're all creepers?

p.s. I also reserve the right to try them in a different device to see if the music of NLV needs a different amplification system to make me dance. ;)

At first I loved the Gold but after vaping some Twilite and not liking it, I started to detect some of that same "blah" flavor surfacing on the Gold :( The Twilite ruined it for me!

Hey Voltron, don't think about a red balloon, okay? Do you promise you won't think about a red balloon? hahaha.

This is exactly what I don't want you to think about.

Man, you are killing me over here! I think I will definitely go with Line Rider tomorrow, since I can't get this red ballon out of my head now!:-x:lol:

Line Rider tastes to me exactly this:

Maybe my atty still had some Gandalf in it, becasue my first (and last LOL) vape of it didn't taste like that. Are you saying it is a fuh, fuh, fuh juice? I hate fuh, fuh, fuh! I don't care about any "State Express" cigarettes or anything like that; 555 should only be an abbreviation for a wild time I had on Cinco De Mayo in 2005!

It's just a mild but straight up peanut taste. Not as strong, or overloaded like regular 555's.

BTW, after going through so many NET juices, I would think that you would consider anything from NLV to be a "wuss juice" :D

When I first tried BH, Renegade and Maverick, I liked Renegade the best, but that was before my first crack at really vaping tobacco (NET). I vaped BH and was very surprised at the flavor that I tasted (not necessarily pleasantly surprised). I guess it tastes just like all the decriptions of it, but not quite up to the level of prasie that it gets IMO. NLV comes highly recommended from my best friend on the forum and for just that mere association with such a cool azz dude, I will vape it. I am glad I didn't get caught up in that waiting game though. Hey, when it's all said and done, my homie doesn't necessarily think Gandalf is all that great. So, to each his/her own. I do think those that are really looking for the best in syrup like sweetness (I mean it respectfully) should try some NLV (like Gold and BH); for those looking for tobacco tastes, well, they should look elsewhere as far as I am concerned.

p.s. I am still vaping Gold and loving it. This is my first really enjoyable sweet vape, so I think that is huge in and of itself.

Anyone that is new to vaping is not exempt from voicing their thoughts on the topic

Okay, I'll have a go, cuz I feel rather passionate about this subject, based on my experiences as a brand new newbie.

Many people that "voted" have been doing this a while

Yes, but they were once newbies. But their loyalty to certain vendors became steadfast.

Most people don't buy from 50+ vendors.

No, but the top 5 they do buy from, over time, makes them happy and puts $$ in the vendor's pocket (win/win).

the vendors I've used have excellent cs

Customer service is everything.

I am a new vaporer, and I've turned 4 friends on to vaping, we're all looking for a few juice vendors. If working with a custom mixer, esp. the smaller ones, and you have special needs, you can communicate that and also get their assistance in helping you experiment a little bit...what might be bothering you, what you might boost or diminish, or try......they are the experts.

Sadly, that hasn't happened with a few so far.......so they got my first order, but won't get any more. Nor from my friends. That represents years of lost business, right? There are too many other vendors who want me for a loyal customer, and who will make the effort up front---because getting new customers is what keeps them moving forward in business.

It's what puts them in the 20's on lists like this, years later.

I think there is an ebb and flow to certain vendors popularity, not their quality, just the "buzz" about them.

The buzz is because they enter the room and instead of saying “here I am!” they say “oh, there you are!” and they're all about service. It's not enough to have good juice.....plenty of competition and individual tastes for that. For many who aren't gonna reach out to a new customer, that buzz you speak of turns into 15 minutes of fame.

When I post my list after doing a little more business, the ones who provided me with some guidance in getting the very best they have to offer me, will be my top 5. :D Sometimes, that means trying a little more at the beginnning, not just taking my first $50.
