But of course we did -I ordered LineRider, Litehouse, Twilight, Renegade, Gold and Bounty Hunter as well as two other non tobacco flavors. Knowing I'm not especially into the (chorus: singalongame) "vanilla-ish caramel-ish honey-ish chocolatey-ish) stuff, which would the great acolytes recommend?

I tried every vanilla and caramel that I could think of and hated them. Then I got vanilla strait from NLV and it blew me away. I can't vouch for the others as I have not had them yet but this VS juice is nothing like I have had. It's wonderful. And if the BH, CCL or Gold ate like VS, then I know I will most likely love them too.

Still new (only two monrhs) and still searching for good vendors. Reading parts of this thread (60 + pages ? WOW) I've seen some vendors recommended that I thought were so-so, I guess taste is subjective. The only two vendors I'd recommend:

Clouds of Vapor
RAWR

So where's the list mentioned at the start of this thread ? I'd like to see it and start chacking out a few of the more popular vendors ! That list is probably on a page I haven't scoured yet, so I'll keep looking

First, congrats and welcome; second, at the bottom of the page you will see "tags for this thread" which are not links, but just tags for where a particular thing is mentioned in a post (the latest tally or list is on pot #566); third, if you want to see fewer pages to the thread (I have a total of 17 pages for this thread so far), go to "settings" at the top of the page, then click "General Settings" on the left hand column, after that scroll down to "Thread Display Options" and choose 40 posts per page (or whatever number you can select that you desire).

Thanks Mr Mann, for the idea behind the thread and the helpful advice ! Found what I was looking for on page 12, and again on page 14, posted by New Kid (thanks to you, too). I saw in one entry you liked HHV, Mr. Mann. I've got five of her 15ml bottles in the steeping rotation now, though my tastes are decidedly different than yours. I see you really like her Tobacco Flavors, i only hope her sweet vapes are as good ! HHV's customer service has already caught my attention !

No problemo. I feel we as customers owe it to each other to share our experiences. Sometimes I hype a vendor, other times I will hype a juice, and sometimes I will be critical of of the aforementioned. This is never meant to be taken as advertising or dismissive (though it ends up seeming like that); it is more about me making a fuss over that which I have found was worth my money and what wasn't. I truly couldn't care less whether any of these vendors are in the black or not, my concern is whether or not other members/customers have some type of a bread crumb trail as to where to find either good service and or products or reasonable prices. I firmly stand on the side of us as consumers.

I have to admit that I am concerned if a vendor is in the 'black' or not. If it's a vendor whose products I like I want them there the next time I order with good, consitent customer service. That does make profitability an important point.

Point taken. Though my point was not to say that I don't care whether or not a vendor survives necessarily, just that it is not my concern or job to see to it that they do.

Trust me, any mention of a vendors name, in a slightly positive context, reverberates through the community in respect to sells and attention.

It's really two sides of the same coin. I want consumers to know my positive experiences (I share them often) and that in fact turns a quick profit or sell for the vendors. My intention and goal is one thing that has two-pronged results benefiting both parties.

I can see both of your points; Mr.Mann is right in that we, the consumer, deserve consideration. And, I also agree with awsum140 in that if I should find a quality product I would wish the best for that enterprise. But doesn't the free-market system take care of these concerns ? Good Quality and Exceptional Customer Service will usually keep a buiseness in buiseness ! I might be foolish, but it would not surprise me if several vendors come and go, simply by not providing what the consumer needs.

You are not foolish. Once again, this is two sides of the same coin. If a vendor makes a great product and has awesome cs, please let me know and I will let you know--I just so happen to want that info conveyed for the consumers benefit.

If the free market system actually accomplished anything even vaguely like this, we'd see far fewer people getting fat and diabetic on McGarbage, and a lot less money thrown away on the disposable Chinese crap sold by the fine folks over at Walmart.

But whatever. ;)

I think lists like this are extremely helpful, just because a person new to vaping has to start somewhere. As it happens, the #1 rated Alien Visions is my least favorite juice, bar none, but I'm still glad I tried it. No other way to figure out what one likes, really.

It's a shame some vendors don't seem to get the point that good service and good CS actually improves their profiability. This is especially true in a "word of mouth" community like the vaping community and, on the bigger scale, the way the internet works today. It always amazes me how some video or comment goes "viral" and generates so much interest and immitation. This translates into the business world as well but seems to get lost on the businesses all too often. I don't hestitate to comment on my positive experiences but I have to admit that I am a little more careful with negative ones simply because I am kind of cynical and don't want that coloring my opinions unfairly.

It's like anything else really. You are right, my favorite vendors are lower on the list then the top 5 (much lower!;) ) However, I have tried all of those other vendors (high on the list) and can honestly say I get why they are up there, though they don't suit my tastes necessarily. It all boils down to having some type of road map, though not all popular destinations will please every traveler. As large of a database as ECF has, there are many, many more that pop up everyday and those that for one reason or another are not here. If we had to navigate the whole terrain without some type of direction and feedback, we would all be flying blind.

p.s. WackDonalds has served billions! Clearly, popularity sometimes has nothing to do with quality. Take it all with a grain of salt, or in WackDonalds case, take it with a tub of salt. :D

I didn't see ElixirLiquid on the list...this vendor has some very good unique juices and their Ry4 is prob the best Ry4 out there. It's not that light tasteless Ry4 you will get from most vendors. It's like the long lost Ry4 and kinda like Ikenvape's old Ry4 gold.

What's up my dude?

But WalMart and McD's ARE the free-market system ! If you want cheap and disposable, then buy as such ! You may not like some of my favorite vapes (RAWR Banana Cream Pie, COV Waffle & Butterscotch ), you may prefer tobacco flavors that I avoid like the plague. My point is, if someone produces a product NO ONE likes- bye bye ! You may not like pickup trucks, I'm on my 3rd new F-150 in the last 20 years. To each they're own. But you don't see too many Studdebaker or Edsil on the road these days. And I do thank you for your honest appraisel of Alien Visions. When EVERYONE raves about something I get a little leary, for that makes it seem too good to be true.

PB, I am curious, what tobacco juices have you tied? It is not my intent to convert you to the the wonders of actual tobacco juices, but I am curious if you have tried tobacco flavorings or juices derived from tobacco--there is a difference as much as night and day. (I too, avoid tobacco flavorings like the plague, but I am a tobacco vaper though-in-though!)
