That said, there's still a bunch of highly hyped suppliers out there I haven't gotten around to sampling, so it's possible I'll revise this eventually. I want to try NLV very badly, but it takes an act of congress to get hold of their juice apparently.

Occasionally congress must act, or at least they must've recently because NLV is back online.

I am not a huge fan of most of their stuff that I have tried (about 6 juices), but one that I love, Gold, is ranked up there with my gotta-haves. I wouldn't call it a tobacco, primarily because I am so very familiar with tobaccos, but there is a subtle current of a flavor that triggers similar signals to that of tobacco.

Vaping some right now, no cinnamon for me either.

This has been steeped, and I do find it very smooth. It does have the honey taste to me, but I was amazed at how smooth this juice is.

Now, if anyone wants to talk about a juice that HAS to steep, this is it (About 72 hours+). I am not talking opinion here, I am stating it as a fact! Wlad will tell you the same thing...he is the one that told me there is no cinnamon in it. Now as to what gives this juice its taste? Well, that is confidential, but it is quite good and, uhh, smooth.

NO, your taste buds aren't screwed up. Once again, certain flavors can join to create a singular flavor which may signal something else. Ex. Here's a little color theory for y'all: Imagine the color olive, what color do you think you are seeing?

Okay?

Waiting...

Think about it------

Ready?

Green is a secondary color of course, meaning two primary colors, blue and yellow, are mixed in certain proportions to give you green. Okay, when I asked about olive, did you see in your minds eye a green? Olive is made by mixing yellow and black, so it is actually a dark yellow, not a green. So, you very well may taste cinnamon, but it is an illusion, err, Ahlusion. LOL

So how do u guys steep ur juice??

Depends on how terrible it is. If I just want to let it chill for some enzymatic collaboration, then I just wait and check once a week or so. If it tastes like alcoholic metal smothered in melted rubber, I leave the cap off for a couple days and replace it only to shake it; then, I put the cap back on a leave it in a dark place for a week and repeat that initial process, until...voila!

p.s. Smell check, smell check, smell check.

I have more consideration for my poor nose than Mr M. does.:laugh: If I know/think the juice has ETOH in it, I steep it for 48 hrs in a cool dark place with the caps off, then re-cap and continue to steep IACDP for 2-4 weeks, depending upon whether it's a fruit or a tobacco. :) Otherwise, I just omit the off-cap part and steep IACDP for 2-4 weeks.

It doesn't hurt at all to occasionally SHAKE the juices while they are steeping, either. :)

Anyone ever tried the RY4 from BlueMist?

gthompson, meet VapHerVlouds.

Me, well I gave up on RY4s the minute I realized that I wasn't chasing those flavors as much as I was hoping that I would open a bottle and billherbst writing abilities would magically be channeled through me. It never happened. :(

p.s. I may have tried BlueMist before, but if I did, it is in the pit I call "forgotten."
