gthompson, meet VapHerVlouds.

Me, well I gave up on RY4s the minute I realized that I wasn't chasing those flavors as much as I was hoping that I would open a bottle and billherbst writing abilities would magically be channeled through me. It never happened. :(

p.s. I may have tried BlueMist before, but if I did, it is in the pit I call "forgotten."

The reason I ask is, BlueMist RY4 is not even close to being an RY4. There's no tobacco, there's no caramel, there's maybe some vanilla. It's actually not bad, but it's not an RY4. I have no idea why he calls it RY4. I can't for the life of me figure out what it tastes like. I keep hoping someone will say "Oh, it tastes like ____", and I'll say, "That's it!".

I had a guy say it tastes like Chinese duck sauce. Maybe that's as close as I'll ever get.....

This just in...

I got my Ahlusion order in and something is off. I have been in talks with Wlad all day and he suspects that somehow there was an error in the processing of the tobaccos and they possibly didn't get cured for the necessary amount of time. I am getting a weird fume from the juice that wasn't there in the first batch; the tobacco is quiet and behind that mysterious, off-putting smell/taste. Does it suck for me to be in this situation? Well, it depends on how you look at it. Wlad has not said what some vendors would say, like "Sorry kid, I don't know what to tell ya'." We are working on a fix, and while I am not asking for my money back, I have no doubts that he will get me squared away--he's that kind of guy. The most important part of this experience is that he believes me.

The non-tobaccos I got, that I have tasted, are absolutely spot-on. Ole! (sangria), Blue Fairy (absinthe) are both incredibly delicious flavors for what they represent. Will I continue to vape them? That I don't know, but if I don't, it won't be due to the flavor being off, it's just that as much as I want to step out of my comfort zone, I am realizing that I came into that zone from outside of it and don't really see much need in returning. Once again, those flavors are incredible though!

p.s. It was very hard for me to write this as I have championed Ahlusion (and will continue), but in the spirit of honesty, I had to tell it like it T-I-S.

This just in, well, not really "just in," but I want to make it better known...

Wlad agreed that something was off with Devil Dog, he said that "they" rushed the processing of it. He told me to toss it and he's got my back for the correct version that he is taking charge of. Also, while I didn't exactly mention the other tobaccos, Vecchio, Smooth Criminal and House Blend, those juices were NOT good on the first day. Wlad assured me that nothing was wrong with those and to give them a couple days. OMG, was he right. I have never had a juice transform like that. I am not talking about normal claims of steeping benefiting a juice's flavor, I am talking an aboutface. I wish I could explain how Smooth Criminal, Vecchio and House Blend taste, but I killed some brain cells once today on a review and these damn juices are VERY hard to describe. Once again, to vape it is to chase it...and these jokers are Usain Bolt fast. I will be reordering these, but if you do (whoever you may be) research steeping 101. LOL

Buy so much of it I can't possibly get round to cracking them all open the day I get them...? Does that help?
:D

I also steep some by pouring it in a glass shatterproof bottle, and then leaving it in hot water, as I've found several can benefit from upping the temps for an hour or two. Not boiling water of course, but hot. Wouldn't recommend doing that with the plastic bottles though as I'm not sure if they have bpa content and would "leech" into the juice when heated. (also the same reason I prefer not to keep my supplies in plastic bottles for months n months either...)

So how do u guys steep ur juice??

Ok, the boss (wife) in now using Volt batteries instead of WC... The boss likes the cartos prefilled and has a preference still for the WC (white cumnulonimbus) vanilla. Any suggestions for the primo vanilla that does not cost $15 for 5 of them and tastes good? Also the must be prefilled cartos. Help me find something (so I can spend the xtra moolah).

Actually, there's a very good point there. Never throw away the little sampler bottles you get. If you do get larger quantities of a flavor that needs to steep, pour some into a few sampler bottles and let them all steep. You can then sample some at any given time, and I'm no chemist, but I've experienced the steeping time is cut down quite a bit with smaller amounts. But not know when is when always makes it interesting.

And by the by Mr.Mann, the DD I received has matured nicely since my first take on it. Will have to try some of the DD 'v2' once it's ready to go. Interested to see if there's any noticeable difference compared to what I received.

Good to see you, Dan. It has been awhile. Keep on keepin' on, bro! It took me awhile, but it seems like I have always been a vaper (well, kinda ;) ). Stay strong, even in moments of weakness, think about strength.

HUGE! I was thinking bout this last night, but didn't want to post out of fear. :( I wanted to ask the question, "Why is it small bottles taste better?" I think you just answered it. That is some insightful ish!

Well, technically V2 is this batch. But, if it is good to you, by all means, vape it. However, if you get your hands on that evil K-9 again, don't be surprised if he bites you in the ***! I had a compare an contrast which spoiled it for me.

Glad to hear as I have an order pending with Ahlusion. Went with the house blend as my Tobacco choice and got a mix of others to try. I too have had some communication with Wlad and have been impressed. Impressed enough to place an order. He is straightforward and seems to know his business. I have high hopes for their juice.

Most of my vapes are 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG. Not really in order just my top 4 equally.

1) Juicy Vapor - Oba Oba, Snickerdoodle (with a little Snickerdoodle Coffee mixed in, gives it a bite)

2) RAWR - Dawn Of Truth (no menthol)

3) VapeDudes - Buttery Nipple

4) AVE - Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice

5) still looking for my #5 vendor

Hey everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. I was a 40 year smoker and quit analogs in May of this year. Thanks to vaping I have not had the desire to return to them. I am having WAY to much fun with this.

My favorite vendors (currently - they are subject to change depending on the quality of their product, price and customer service) These are not in any particular order. Each one has something particular that I like. But I am ALWAYS on the lookout for good e-juice.

ECBlend Flavors
Vape Dudes
Tasty Vapor
The Vapor Room
Madvapes

I have not been vaping long so I am sure there a a ton of vendors I have not tired. I am particularly fond of fruit flavors, some coffees and I like LOTS of flavor and vape. However, my lungs don't like high levels of VG. I usually use a 60/40 blend when available or 50/50 when not.

I started out using a volt auto 78 mm battery with carts. Now I use a v2 900 manual with stainless carts, CE3s and clearomizers. I am still pretty new and learning. I would really like to find a system that gives a pure taste of the liquid. I test on a small (not elaborate) dripper. So sometimes I am disappointed when they don't taste the same in my setup.

Thanks, Mr. Mann for the invite to the list. I look forward to visiting as often as I can.

Glacier :)
