Hey Don, can't tell you about the AVE as I haven't had the pleasure yet, but to be honest I loved the Gandalf straightaway, the flavors all bounce around as individual notes. But for a more rounded taste I'd wait a week or so. the only way I found this out was to order so much that I eventually ran out of "rip it outta the mailman's hands NOW, fill! and inhale till your eyes pop" supplies. 
However if you want a taster and have a clearo, fill it up about 1.5 -2 mls, take a few nice deep vapes. The small amount and the heat from those few vapes round it out nicely to enjoy the next day imo.

Gorilla Juice starts out really subtle and gradually gets more flavorful, but IMHO, it's pretty good from day one. I'd try a few drips here and there and hit it full steam when it gets to where you want it.
Thanks for the help guys and gals I really appreciate the help. I tried the gorilla straight away and figure I'd wait for the flavor to wake up a lil. Haven't touched the gandalf yet but got some cartos sitting around I can try it out in a little bit... do you guys steep with caps off the whole time?
And I don't as a rule - only because I went hog wild and bought a whole wagon load at one point which I'll be working on for the next 6 months more than likely!

Since this thread started HHV went from being not mentioned, to being one of the most mentioned in no time flat. We quite literally have seen a top 5 vendor in the making. Congrats to Heather and Adam, and also all those that found something that suits their needs.

I like doing the updates, but going through nearly 2 thousand posts to find your last vote would be...um..frustrating.

A lot of us have changed our list.
It will help the guy trying to keep up with the count if you'll quote your old list when you make a new one, so he doesn't double count anything.
