I got a Rogue from Chowder's first run. It's pretty airy. Better suited for lung hitters looking for big airflow than mouth to lung vapers. The AFC doesn't work very well in closing down the airflow. You can sand down the top piece, which is a challenge for stainless but easier for the copper or brass afcs. Even sanded down, the atty still gets pretty big air. But if that's what you're looking for, the Rogue should do it for you. Its easy to build on and the flavor is not bad either. Best of all, you can squonk on it all you want. It doesn't leak unless you hold it upside down. For me, its a pretty good atty overall.

What does sanding down the top cap achieve? Not sure I'm understanding how that increases control of airflow. I run my Odin at 0.3, given the small size of the chamber on the rogue, I'm hoping for A warmer vape. My buddy has a bf derringer, and it's crazy airflow and very warm, which is sometimes hard to achieve with reos because of the voltage drop. I ran a trident v2 on mine for 8 months and positively mastered the build on that thing. Odin is comparatively more difficult to build, rogue looks nice

I recently picked up an authentic Rogue with the intention of having it modded for BF. But, unless the build I put in just sucks, I'm not that crazy about it from limited testing in conventional top feed mode. I like my Derringers a lot more than the Rogue so far. Guess I'll have to play with the build a bit when I have some time and see what I can get out of it. It may end up in the classies if I can't find a build I like for it.

Coils near the top air holes?

Just built my first dual coil Rogue. Placed the 0.6 ohm net coils a little high. Checked on an ohm tester with the cap on to make sure they were not to high. They looked way high compared to builds on my other atomizers. I have to tell you, I am impressed! glad I bought two.

I wanted the Rogue to work for me as a atty that won't leak like so many others do. But I have to agree... like sucking air through a vacuum hose, the AFC is worthless and the flavor is weak from it by my standards. I'm a long lung hitter, I don't like the Rogue at all and put in the out of service box still brand new.
