I have been using bottom feeders exclusively for a while now. I will always use bottom feeders part time, but I would like to try and build a top feeder, because I feel as if my juice is getting tainted as I feed it, because the juice hits the atty, mingles, soaks, and then sucks back down in the bottle along with all the impurities it meets along the way, i.e. vaped on juice, dirt from catch cup, carbon from atty etc. So I would, like to hear from some of you. what are your thoughts, suggestions, or impressions regarding the use, practicality, and building of top feeders. or even if you think it is a cool Idea. btw I dont use tanks or anything by personal preference, nothing against them for others but they are just not for me. Thanks in advance!

A few random thoughts.

The 'stuff' you are talking about will always be there, just cuz it's out of sight does that really change anything?

The very nature of most ....-feeders and the hints of how to use them seems rather counterproductive. Flood/fill the bottom of the atty, usually overfilling into the catch cup. The new trend to have no tubing extending into the atty seems to just exacerbate this effect. You now have to suck it up to the actual coil, some back wash is inevitable. Seems to be a rather inefficient way to actually juice the coil.

Pull that bottle downtube and 'tilt to feed', once mastered is it easier, cleaner and more effective. Instead of filling up an atty connector base and catch cup, gravity will take the liquid to where it should be, the 'business end' of your atty, not it's .....

Top feeders seem to have lost ground. But don't folks always rave about dripping as 'the best' way to vape? Isn't that exactly what top feeders do?

My thoughts exactly willyB, I think the problem is that no one really markets top feeders, well some do like digitalciggz, but other than that I dont know of many. there are removable top feeders that just sit on top the atty like the vape mate, but not many commercial mods use it. I think I will get around to building my idea next week. eventually I will be making a 2x 26650 vv mod with a 30ml top feeding system. wont have to change batts or fill juice for a month
