I cant decide. So i thought i'd throw it up on here. I have a phoenix clone which vapes great but i cant really stand dripping and cant stand that the thing has to be straight up all the time! I have tried a Vivi nova mini but it doesnt work very well on my VMAX. I always get dry hits. My PV spends alot of time in my pocket being turned sideways and i dont want something that leaks. Ive read comments that say the griffin doesnt leak when sideways. Can anyone validate that? I would assume it would depend on how well the wick fits into the hole. I also like the new awesome method for making the coils for the griffin/did/dud using the drill bit. Not a lot of reviews on the VZ bottom coil but the threads make it look really promising. Seems to work alot like a carto tank, which has been my favorite vape for a long long time

I use the "drill bit method" for building wicks and coils with my Griffins, so the wicks are fairly snug in the hole. I lay them on their side sometimes, and they don't leak. For those who fit the wick a little more loosely, or leave the fill screw out, as some folks do, I'm sure they would.

yea i saw that video on the "drill bit method". looks awesome. ive messed around with silica wicks and SS mesh wicks on my phoenix clone and using that method on a griffin looks way easy and accurate. It makes sense that a solid wick fit snugly in the wick hole on a griffin would resist leakage. Glad to get conformation on that. DV sells them with clear tanks which is also making me lean more towards one as well. Not knowing how much liquid i had in there would drive me crazy ;) Maybe i'll wait on the VZ bottom coil for a little bit. Seems like there's alot more people having really good luck with the griffin
