Toronto vaper sayin' 'Hi'.

Hey all,

Have yet to meet or see a single vaper out in public. I tell every smoker I meet about and have yet to come across anyone who's ever heard of it. Everyone's blown away when I demonstrate... just how common is vaping in 'The Big Smoke'?

I've vaped in bars, the hospital, on the TTC... zero problems so far. Some funny looks, but zero problems

I vape on the TTC all the time, just stealth it. I vape in the few pubs I go with no problem either.

I am dying to know what was on the ticket. Did it say anything about smoking?

Do you have time to fight the ticket? or is it worth the hassle for you?

For what its worth you can toss a ticket like that and they will never come after you....

But that would be an interesting one to take to court. Google whatever law/by-law they cited and see what the wording it. I bet it says "lit tobacco"... Not much chance of making waves in the level or court, it would set legal precedent, but no one is going to bother to look it up nor will it get much attention.

Unless you called the news and hit on a slow news week..... hmmm

they TTC cops never deal with ACTUAL issues on the subway...panhandlers, fights and whatnot, but THIS they will deal with.

I have one exactly like that... but its for 230 at warden station. Im taking this one to court. for 230 I want to see what Canada has to say about ecigs.

I was actually smoking tho.. lol im just gonna say it was ecig.

Why we have to do in secret? the best publicity is to vape openly. something like this would spread like the flu. but it will only infect smokers.

I was born and rasie in cabage town down town toronto, move to scarbourgh live there for many yrs
but now iam in courtice ontario
near oshawa/bowmanville area..
i dont know if my area is hip to this but all i can say is..... go go go!! vapers....happy vapping all

Hey I hear ya, it kinda feels weird to bust out this "fake cigarette" and start puffing on it. - the only thing that would make me complete is belmont flavoured juice.

I got the el'cheapo Health e-cigs. and they looks like toys.
Im chinese and I thought asians would know what this is, but I've had several ppl call it a fake cigarette. - they just dont have a clue.

But I feel that is something I can help solve.

me: take a out the Health ecig and puff on it
coworker: r u smoking in an elevator?
me: no man, this is my vapourizer
coworker: oh... *blank stare at the door*

This feels like a massive marketing communication project to me. Feels like fun - after reading the tipping point.

Just started this week, but already got alot of questions and interest.

Was walking through Vaughan Mills vaping, security gaurds stopped me, asked me to put out my cigarette, I took the smokestik and pretended to out it on my tounge, den after one of them almost freaked out and realized it wasn't a real cig, I told them about e-cigs, chatted for a bit, and told them where they could get one and continued vaping for the rest of my time there.

They said "if it ain't tobacco or real smoke then hey, go ahead, especially if its helping you quit. Stopping you is like stopping somone for having a steaming coffee."

hey guys i'm new to this site and new to e-smokes in general. i just started this week. i was a 2 pack a day smoker and i was skeptical at first but haven't had an actual smoke since i got this thing. AMAZING!

i stunned my teachers at school when i started puffin on it in class. after i explained how it worked to them they were all about it hahaha.

does anyone know where you can get e-juice and cartridge refills in toronto?
