Hi,
I hope someone somewhere can help me. I can't seem to find a reliable & reasonably priced supplier.

After trying a 901 (I think) super-mini, I settled on the RN4081 super-mini. I was using PureSmoker as my supplier but they are no longer handling super-minis.

I NEED batteries, I'd be willing to buy a starter kit but I'm up to my eyeballs in chargers.

I bought some RN4081 batteries directly from China. Absolute POS.

I went Ruyan Direct. They have RN4081 atomizers but no batteries only 901s. Upon inquiring, they said they aren't compatable with 4081 atomizers. Although, I think I've mixed these in the past but not entirely sure.

I've googled but the sites returned are ones I never heard of & I'm afraid of getting burned again.

Anyone know of a reliable internet supplier? Good batteries, reasonable, & normally in stock?

I'm about to give up e-cigarettes entirely. I'm so tired of searching & searching.

What's the sense of e-cigs if you can't routinely & reliably buy what you need?

Sorry to such a wet blanket but...

RN-4081 Accessories : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

I bought from electronic ash. Don't know price wise what the best deals are out there but the shipping was fast. The site says batteries are 14.99

I bought the 901 ultimate starter kit and haven't used my 4081's since.
Now my 4081 (se gold) feels like I'm trying to suck on a clogged straw.
It's such a huge difference for me personally.

What no supplier would tell a new customer is that batteries can be a nightmare and will die out after a hundred or so charges and that atomizers will die when you least suspect them to. That is why the good forum members here always recommend that you buy extra batteries and atomizers for the impending failures. And, yes, Doris, analogs are way more easy to deal with and reliable. Except for the part where they can kill you.

All of that said, I would recommend that you consider purchasing a manual device. A device that has a closed battery and manual switch you push to heat your atomizer and release to stop the atomizer. The closed battery prevent prevents e-liquid from seeping into them and the manual switch to better control the vapor production and throat hit you want from your device. Some of these devices look similar to analogs (i.e. model 510) while others do not (JantyStick, Screwdriver, GG, Prodigy). You may pay more up front for one of the abovementioned devices, but total cost of ownership may actually be much less if you factor in the incredible expensive and unreliable battery situation. Of course, you have to expect atomizer failures, but even if you kill one per month, you are only talking about $120 a year to replace them (what is that, three cartons of smokes?).

I still feel this way sometimes and I have been a user for a while now.;) It doesn't stop being inconvenient, and even after you stock up on parts, its maintenance and sometimes a mess and then you lose it (I just had it, where the hell did I put it down? and cant find it and you panick.....see pic for my cure lol)
I know the agony of looking online too- I go to "new" sites and see I have stuff in the shopping cart so I must have been there before...
Its worth it in the end. Good luck finding a good place to buy from, I only know where to get mine. ( I went with the 901 because its just everywhere and cheap! Plus I lurvve it)

Hi All,
I live in the USA, specifically NH. I've been vaping for nearly a year & I've learned the hard way to stock up before I have an equipment failure. Part of the frustration, knowing your batteries are going to go soon & figuring out where to buy replacements. Ditto for atomizers. Although, I have 4 4081 atomizers the original 2 must be close to 6 mos. old now. (I clean nearly daily & have created my own e-liquid which doesn't seem to clog as bad as the off the shelf stuff.)

Is the 901 better than the 4081? Additional opinions requested.

I really can't imagine that I'd ever want to go to the screwdriver/prodigy style. The size puts me off. All I can imagine is that it would be like smoking a pipe. I like to be able to plunk my e-cig into my shirt pocket. How are these styles working for you?

Thanks for the help. I've had dinner & chilled a bit!

Are you familiar with the Janty Stick, Doris? I keep mine in my top pocket all the time. It's barely bigger than a container of tic tacs. Batteries last between 5 and 8 hours for some. They're inexpensive ($4) and readily available...

I'm a newbie Doris. I started out with the Smoking Everywhere from the mall last month. Then I found this forum and I was looking for one that wasn't so hard to puff on. The 901's are a lot easier for me to use. Many people have said the large pen styles are easy also but I don't have one so I can't say.
Now when I to use the se gold (like your model) it's harder for me.
I just learned about a USB plug-in power device that will work with USB pass throughs for e cigs.
Here's a link to the one I was looking at that someone mentioned on the forum. They are sold all over the Internet-the price on this one is more than the 40 bucks someone told me they bought theirs for but you can take a look and see if it's something you want to further investigate.
When the USB pass through is plugged into one of these it goes for hours and hours and hours. (So they say)

Amazon.com: Kensington Portable Power Pack for Mobile Devices (K38021US): Electronics

I've been gathering information on these and on the models that people use with this device. I am sitting at my computer way too much now because my USB pass through works so great on my computer. It never dies and it is even better than the batteries.
One person told me about the 510's. Those have a pass through that has a battery on the cord so I wondered if those would last even longer on those battery power chargers. The battery issues a real drag.
I'm still reading and waiting to hear from a few people I emailed. I don't want to buy anything more till I know I'll use it for sure and it works for sure.
Some people on the forum have bought certain ones that don't work and certain people's pass throughs haven't worked so I'm going slow and gathering solid advice before whippin out the charge card again.
I have thought about getting an e cigar and just putting my own flavors in empty carts cause I've read that those batteries last a long time and those cigars are easy to puff.
If anyone corrects me on any point I've typied here they may very well be correct.
Like I said, I'm a newbie! Deb

I use the 510, and I am totally sold on it. I have a 901, but I prefer the titan. As for a good supplier, I ONLY buy from Electro-Nic-Stix (Powered by CubeCart) Jason is super helpful, and he is very good about keeping everything in stock, (batteries, atomizers etc) along with having affordable prices.
Hope this helps :)

I'm totally new at this, and really bewildered. I've been rolling my own bugler since the 80s, so I'm real hard core. After 37 years smoking, I gotta make a change. I don't want to die but I'm a total nicotine addict and won't quit. Plus California WAY upped the taxes on roll your own. My partner and I got smoking everywhere e cigs in a Kiosk at the mall. Overpriced and I need tobacco juice to amp up the cartridges, so I'm going back for some tobacco juice, but seems e cigs could replace my roll your own. When it works, its fantastic. My partner wants to hold the Kiosk to the one year exchange, so I'll let you know how that goes. That would take care of battery and atomizer burn outs. I ordered an M401 from freshsmoking.com. Seemed like the most friendly website with all replacement parts in stock. I'll let you know how that goes too. When a site stops supporting a specific ecig, seems like you always have to compare going to another ecig to the cost of analog smokes and also extending the life of your body and staying alive. Many members here seem to have several ecigs. I have this problem with suppliers too and I hope the other people on this forum can help us. I need this ecig thing to work and I just started it. Breakfastchef, what's the best site for a manual device. Where do you get them from? Where is a good place to get jumbo devices that produce a lot of vapor even tho not socially acceptable? I don't care about acceptablity, just availability and smokability. Doris, please don't give up. I think we will live longer if we can work this out. -Chris

The Screwdriver is the same size as the 901 and I pluck mine in my pocket all the time. But if appearance is your top priority, then dealing with the 4801 is probably the best way to go.

First welcome to vaping!! I do have a couple PV's, and love them all. I highly recommend getting a new model every once in a while to keep things interesting!! As far a the part I quoted, most sites have different names for the same thing. So if one site stops carrying that type just figure out what kind you have currently and find the other sites that carry that one. (I have a RN4801 which is also called a super mini, or NJoy calls it the NPro and other sites call it various other names.) I recommend finding the best price from a U.S. supplier that is recommended on this site. TDefinitely a lot of tips and tricks on this site though!
