Get one of these as a backup or primary. The Variable Voltage (VV) and Variable Wattage (VW) will be extremely useful. This is a 30-50 dollar discount over what this device is going for right now:

Next, as others have said, get yourself up to 24mg.
Finally, do you like fruit flavors or dessert flavors?
Try this vendor and see if you like their flavoring >
Mt Baker Vapor I recommend cinnamon roll or/and sticky bun (I actually combined the two and am hooked on it now) in 24mg, at 65pg/35vg with 2 flavor shots. If you like fruity flavors try the Moo Juice in 24mg at 65pg/35vg with 2 flavor shots. Don't overdo it on the flavor shots or you can end up causing an opposite reaction (too much flavor actually mutes the flavor). Get yourself a good glass tank like a Mini Protank 2. The citrus/spicy liquids tend to crack the plastic tanks.
I also recommend
www.Nicoticket.com for excellent liquid too (Custard's Last Stand and Creme Brulee)
if 24mg doesn't cut it, you can go up to 36mg . Just a warning, the higher the nicotine level the more peppery your liquid might taste so I picked flavors that will really stand out for you.
This will get you started and should help cut down your cravings. It still won't be easy but it will make it doable and give you some breathing room. Also, Mt. Baker Vapor is extremely low priced and they give a free sample on orders over $15.00. Nicoticket is what *I* consider a premium vendor with extremely good liquids that are more complex if not a bit more subtle, however they don't go up to 24mg because I believe at that level the nicotine peppery hit can change the flavors.
Then take some time to peruse the forums and see what other flavors people recommend that you might like. Do your research before you just start ordering because it may not be what you think it is.
The setup cost is a little high, depending on how much you smoke you can expect to spend a month or two's worth of cigs in one go to get stocked up, but after that it is just maintenance supplies such as coil replacements and liquids. Forget about anything complex for now such as recoiling (good way to save some $$) and Do It Yourself (DIY) liquids (also can save money this way). Just focus on getting through this stage of it and see where you are in a month. Maybe then you'll want to delve into recoiling wicks and some DIY recipes.

Also, the EVOD tanks are a staple, I have four of them, that said, I am awaiting my 2nd glass tank because they are more hassle free. I don't have to worry about flavors that might ruin my plastic EVODS, which makes it less of a hassle when trying to order liquid. Also, Mt. Baker Vapor's ship times are usually very fast. 2 days to go 3,000 miles or so in my case with regular shipping. I'm amazed the USPS can move that fast honestly.
If you have any other questions feel free to PM me. 101vapes.com also has the Mini Protank 2's on salfe for 10.49 I believe (good price. they average between $13.00 and $19.00 elsewhere).
If you find yourself vaping more and more, make sure to lower that nicotine level down to something like 16mg or 12mg. This might happen if you find a flavor you really like. I also find in the evenings it is a good idea to pick something with a lower nicotine content otherwise it keeps me up. lol. For me 6mg to 12mg is good during the evenings. In the mornings I like 18mg and 16-18 during the day while at work.
I started smoking at age 13 and except for 2 years in my early 20's when I quit cold turkey (one of the most difficult things I ever managed) I was a moderate - heavy smoker right up until September of this year. The gum, the patches, the pills, none of it worked. This did.
