Totally new as of today!

I've been reading on here and watching youtube videos for about a week or so and finally decided to get the eGo from Totally Wicked.
It came today, after just two days shipping. I really like it but now I need to know what to get as a follow-up order.
It came with 10 prefilled tobacco flavored cartridges...which are fine but I know there is better out there.
So can someone help me compile a list as to what I need to have now? Is there a different atty that I should try? How many do you keep as back up? How long is a cartridge going to last me? I'd like to try getting cartridges I can fill up myself with juice...but do I need to buy empty cartridges or do I reuse the ones it came with? Aiee....so many questions I know but this is all a little daunting. Hope someone can help me out! Thanks!

Congrats on starting Vaping.

Number one priority is Juice. 10 carts are not going to last very long.
The forum favorite for juice seems to be TastyVapor
Just click on the link "Forum Suppliers" for a list of many suppliers.

You can refill your carts, so don't throw them out when you're done with them.
You can also buy Empty carts (but why bother, if you already have prefilled carts, just save them and refill them when you get some juice).

If you're a pack a day smoker, you can probalby count on 2-3 ML of juice a day.
It's really easier to keep track of how much juice you use, opposed to how many carts you use..

I am soooo jealous that you started with an ego. It took me 3 tries before I "got it right" and bought one. I love it.
Juice, juice, juice, and more juice!
It really sucks to run out. Tasty Vapor,and ms.ts are my favorites.
Also extra attys are always good to have on hand. I try to keep a few around just in case.

Did I mention juice?

Also if you get flavors that you don't care for the pay it forward area has a place to trade.

You can get your juice with or without nic. You get to pick the level.
You can also pick pg/vg level (I like 80%pg and 20%vg)

Ok nevermind i see that on tasty vapor the nicotine is in with the juice. That is good.
One last question then I'll stop I promise....but is e-liquid sold in stores anywhere? I live in Houston, TX. Just wondering. Thanks!

Don't mess with mixing your own yet. Just go to tastyvapor and order one or two flavors there. Start with 24mg/ml and if that is too strong, you can order a bottle of the same flavor with 0 nicotine to dilute yours without diluting the flavor. I would suggest 20-30% VG in your juice, since tastyvapor gives you all these choices that you probably won't understand at first. The VG gives more vapor production. Pure PG you probably won't like and much more VG than 30% you might not like either.

That's pretty much standard for a bottle (30ml or one ounce) of good juice.

Yes the nicotine is in it (unless you order 0% nicotine). Try any and all the suppliers on this forum. All are good, just depends on your personal likes / dislikes and price.

Another option is to look at besteciggy.com (or any number of suppliers, I just like them) and order a sampler of small bottles different juices to tryand see what you like. Different suppliers mixed flavors can vary so if you like Cuban Cigar from one, you may not like the same flavor from another. Try samplers and you won't waste alot of money looking for what juice you like.

Welcome to this great forum and the adventure of Vaping.....For me, I also started out with a Janty Ego...But, I also ordered extra attys and juice with it...Didn't want to run out....The first month, I also bought a few more batteries and a couple of cones (the part that covers the atty)....So, by the end of my first month, I had enough of everything to make 3 Egos at once....That for me is great....Good Luck...and Enjoy...

That is a pretty good sized bottle. It will last you a long time. Besides, you'll find the flavors and vaping in general kind of addicting and you'll want to try more flavors.
