Totally wicked Flavour ..where'd it go !!

First off this isnt a rant or whine, just like to know if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

Right , I bought a large 30 ml bottle of Cherry flavour TW 36mg juice about 3 months ago.
When i initially vaped a little..boy was that flavour strong , I mean a real sickly sweet Very cherry pop flavour. I didn't like it tbh , I even tried to shift it here but decided to keep it for mixing and/or emergency use.

Well My French pipe ran out so i thought i'd use the cherry stuff and get it out the way.
Thing is now the juice has lost some 90% of its flavour. I can barely taste the cherry in it anymore which suprised me because i remember how strong the flavour was and thats the reason i left it.

It's been stored like all my other various supplier juices tight lidded and refrigerated.

Still , at least i can stomach vaping it now tho...

I am getting a bit confused by the flavour thing....a new flavour tastes fantastic when I have just opened the bottle .....but it isn't long before I cannot taste it at all.......I have tried using one flavour all one day and then another the next day in case it's just because I am getting too used to a flavour.......but it doesn't make any difference, they taste identical to me. ...I only get the taste when I have just opened a fresh bottle.

I dunno, but e-cigs UK's minty menthol has gone from 'yuck' to 'mmmmmmm can't stop vapin'' in just over a month for me! Whatever's happened over time, I hope it happens to cash colal!

Oh, and if it goes flavourless so what - I'm gettin' some LorAnn flavourings anyway. Yay!

Menthol is the only flavour I have used so far that I could always taste....even if it didn't seem 'quite' so strong after a little while.

I've got other juice bought even before the cherry and they all seem un-affected.

Certainly is strange...

I have since thought that it might be more to do with atomizer inconsistency/wearing out, but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if this is specific to TW or not. I do know my Janty cappuccino still tastes as strong as it did when I first got it.

I don't think it has to do with storage or other factors along those lines.

As for the atomizer theory, i got a bundle of types new and old and it doesnt appear to matter which device i use the liquid in , it's still virtually flavourless now..

Yeah, it was a bit of a stab in the dark.

It's funny though, I just got a bottle of TW cherry this week (first time trying it) and I have had the same reaction as you -- a bit sickly in its taste. I hope this particular bottle loses some flavour. The strawberry, on the other hand, could be much stronger in flavour even when first used.

P.S. It was just me when I posted that thread, but I've seen several since talking about flavour loss. This is the only other thread specific to TW I've seen, though.

keep in in the fridge and don't touch it for 6 weeks and it'll be perfect

The only juice I have used so far is TW so perhaps it is TW specific but in saying that there doesn't seem to be many people who are having the same problem.

i have a coffee flavour liquid from totally wicked thats lost its flavour almost completly just been over 2 weeks since i opened it

yeah , does seem strange , I wonder if it is TW specific or other suppliers juice can be affected.

I've had a couple of brand new TW flavours that didn't taste of the flavour at all on the day I got them... tasted more like some very form of mild green tea or tobacco. I returned them on the basis that they didn't taste of the flavours they were meant to taste of - which were Orange 11 mg and Strawberry 0 mg. I've got a Strawberry 11 mg which I got the other day too, and it definitely smells and tastes of strawberry.

Lemon 11 mg and Red Bull-ion 0 mg, on the other hand, were very strong in flavour but I don't like either of them...

I also got a Coffee 0 mg and found it was almost "alcoholic" in taste rather than like the other coffees I know - I just thought it's how it's supposed to be and it just sits there now, unused as I don't like it.

yeah , i've heard that flavourings can sperate in a bottle , and i myself have always shook/ mixed bottles before i refill my little dropper bottles or top off.

So far I haven't had any instances of juice losing flavor over time, and I have over 30 bottles. However, there are some days when I can't taste much of anything, but that's just me, not the juice. I have Kick, Janty, PS and some others but no TW as yet.

I haven't tried TW, but I've had liquid from various sources, some known traders and some ebay sellers, and i find all my juice seems to loose it's flavour. When i first open a bottle, it's really strong tasting, but then it seems to deminish, ok tastebuds could be a factor here, but the next day, first vape of the day when you think it would be strong, nothing like the inititial taste. I've had some that the flavour has gone completely, although you can still smell it in the bottle. I keep my main bottle in the fridge, and transfer a small amount into 10ml a bottle for use. If i use it straight from the fridge you can definatly get more flavour, although far from full strength. So maybe temperature has something to do with it. Even my RY04 which is my favorite, is no where as strong after about a week. What about the people that went into the bulk buying recently, that's one reson I didnt join in, as i didn't want to be left with a litre of flovourless liquid.
