The following is what I figured out after a few orders, so by no means is this East Mall’s prescribed process. All my packages I received from East Mall were delivered here in SA, by the courier company TNT (http://www.tnt.com). So it seems that once the package has reached our shores, you can follow these steps to track it as it goes.

First get the reference number from EMS for the package from using the tracking option on your order on the East Mall site:

The next step is to go to the TNT Web site. Enter your location as South-Africa, and proceed to the next screen. Then fill in the reference number stripping off the Characters in the begging and end of the number. (Just the digits). If this following screen does not work, as I found is currently the case, just follow their HTML links to tracking a package.

If the package has reached our SA shores, you should get some information that looks as follows:

As said, by no means is this an East Mall given process, just something I figured out, and thought I would share. I am not even sure if East Mall has control over what company delivers the package here in SA.

thanks Gerry,,

you are a clever young lad-----

and as you say, Gerry,
East Mall has no control over what company delivers the package there in SA.

Once the package leaves Eastmall hands and goes into the shipping system, we have no control at all --

I am pretty sure with many countries around the world, EMS passes off to a courier, or postal service in the country of final destination.
