juice swaps can be done here:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-please-read-first-post-rules-guidelines.html

Low price items can be traded here, but low price items only and no money exchanges hands:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-please-read-first-post-rules-guidelines.html

Anything above the dollar limit in the PIF forum requires trading in the classifieds. In order to access the classifieds section of ECF you need to become verified first:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ember-explained-more-detail-faq-included.html

Do not post about or attempt to trade or buy items on ECF in the general forum or by PM outside of these areas as that's a TOS violation. (And an easy way to get ripped off too.)

How do you subscribe to a thread?

Right above the first post there is a drop down menu that says 'Thread Tools' on that bar. The last item is 'Subscribe to Thread'. Follow the instructions and make sure you click 'Save'. :)

To find the threads you have subscribed to, look under 'Quick Links'.

Thanks, you're a sweetheart. I guess the reason to subscribe to a thread is so you can go back to it easier?

Yes, and you can set up folders to organize all your subscriptions!

A folder for hardware, a folder for e-liquid, a folder for DIY, etc. A great way to find what you need when you need it.

True. But that can get to be a bit ungainly after a while or not get you where you need to go in some circumstances. Subscribing is good for active threads about co-ops (a subset of the classifieds) where you need to pay attention to what is going on, things like high traffic threads about a device or topic you are interested in etc. But for information factoids - like "where the heck is the PIF juice swap forum?" or if you want to find a specific post again - I think browser bookmarks work better.

For example: There is this one great post about rebuilding Kanger coil assemblies: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...20-kanger-protank-rebuild-33.html#post9844874 but it's buried... 323 posts into that thread. You would never find it again by subscribing to the thread - not without huge effort anyway. A browser bookmark for the specific post works better.

To do that - you see each post in a thread is numbered in that blue bar right above the post, on the right. If you right click on the post number it will bring up a link for the post that you can bookmark in your browser.

Of course you can just bookmark any URL to a specific page in your browser as well.

Me at the ECF information desk couldn't tell y'all where to go without browser bookmarks! :D
