From the TSA website regarding liquids on airplanes:
"You are allowed to bring a quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on bag and through the checkpoint. These are limited to travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item. Placing these items in the small bag and separating from your carry-on baggage facilitates the screening process. Pack items that are in containers larger than 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters in checked baggage."
I know for certain that there is no limit on how many small bottles (that are each 100mL or less) you can take onboard in a carry-on...as long as they all can fit in that 1 quart-sized baggie with any other liquids, creams, etc.. I've taken (2) 50mL juices or (3) 30mL juices in there easily with my other bottles of stuff. I just reduce any other liquids, creams, etc. that I'm taking...into smaller sized bottles as well. It also helps to not skimp on the thickness of your baggie, as far as how many mils thick it is. The stronger the better!
