There brass not stainless to mod one yourself you will need a lath and a mill and have the ability to cut the ceramic . We never see guys modding them because its not a easy mod able atomizer you will have to work for it . Thought I would toss this out there its much more then just drilling a couple holes

I figured it would be way not worth it... to try and mod but would they be worth it for the top cap? Or would we be able to get top caps from you for less than 10? Not trying to be a pain just wondering kinda wanting a couple of spare caps to play with.
Oh its definitely worth it you get the top cap and all the parts .

Yeah it easier to have Rob do it.

to mod it you'll need to:
Drill the center pin.
Cut down a juice path on the metal plate the center pin and positive post both screw into.
Cut channel in the ceramic base
Cut down the high lip on the base around the ceramic cup
Mill down the base to fit in a Reo catch cup
drill air hole in cap

I did get one so I have a spare top, screws and posts.

Thanks for the heads up and info from everyone! I'm waiting on my first Reo, and needed a couple miscellaneous things, so I threw one of these on the order with some other goodies. I ordered extra post screws with my Reo (I *know* I'll lose one of those eventually anyway). But having other spare parts is always a good thing.
