tried to rewick coil and got silica wick fibres on my clothes...should i be worried?

Hi there All,

So i was attempting to remove the silica wick from a coil and the fibre filiments got on my clothes stuck to my hands etc, should i be worried about small amounts of fibres that are probably flying around/stuck to me/ wash my clothes etc?
Should i be worried??
Sorry if this is a silly question!
Any input is Great!!!

I wouldn't be. Nothing harmful in silica

Thankyou for your reply! That's a relief!
I got too into trying to remove the fibers without damaging the coil and didnt notice the flyaways haha!
