I enjoy watching a variety of different reviewers, but the one I constantly return to, and never find dissapointing is Rip Tripper. I believe that not everyone shares this view and some people may feel the reverse, but I think he never fails to entertain.
Does anyone on here know him, have met him or know of his life outside of reviews ? I imagine that he is a colourful character as much in his day job as when sitting in front of his webcam !

I do watch and somewhat like his videos, but honestly find him pretty annoying. I have an immediate problem with anyone who uses the term "chucking". IMO a stupid term that should disappear immediately [HASHTAG]#nomorechucking[/HASHTAG]

Watch some of his very early videos, he was much more laid back, he seemed shy even. I bet in real life he is a quiet person and his on camera persona is an alter ego...

One reason I do not watch his reviews...

To busy entertaining the camera, to actually break down a product and find negatives.

Everything is "sick as t..s", and everything is so much better then the last item reviewed because "clouds"

I think he can be pretty entertaining. He definitely has video editing skills, which sometimes makes it less personal and more mechanical. However, besides the theatricals, he's fairly straight-forward and to the point. I also think his tutorials are much more professional and less theatrical, so overall, I dig the site for being a reliable resource for reviews and tutorials.

well his videos are really high quality which is why i enjoy his reviews.. along with his persona of course. all the HD close ups on rebuilding coils helps a lot of beginners like me start up on vapinv

His reviews are high quality, and he definitely knows his stuff. I just wish he would get to whatever he's reviewing a lot sooner. He takes too much time entertaining the camera. Also, anyone else notice him get more high energy with recent videos?

I enjoy watching his reviews, albeit sometimes just for the entertainment. He definitely has his own style with knowledge, skill and quality production equipment. But at the end of the day, he's just a reviewer with an opinion to express... I've gained quite a bit from him but sometimes get that second or third opinion before making my own conclusions.

I watch Rip sometimes. But for the same reason I watch Dumb and Dumber, to laugh at idiots. A lot of his coil recomendations coincide with what he has for sale at the time. Many of them don't work well. He does know how to use his lighting to make his clouds look bigger than they really are.

I don't think anyone knows him in the vaping community. I've heard that he doesn't go to any vape expo's or events. Just an actor/scam artist that will change his looks and move on when he gets exposed.

I enjoy the vids about DIY coils, etc...
The only reviews I pay attention to are the reviews posted by consumers. Weed out the negative ones with obvious hostility, pay attention to the negative reviews where the reviewer sounds like they would be willing to admit the problem could possibly be they’re bad. Weed out the obvious sales people, and groupy's, and IMHO you have better content than most vids I have seen.

I'll watch his videos but you have no way to contact him and he will never reply to questions, so his opinion isn't something I put any stock in.
