I've all but given up on them working well in the Triton so I want to see if there is anyone else out there experimenting and trying these coils in other tanks.

They perform really well in the Atlantis v1. Specifically with 70 VG juice- really nice experience. So I got a bit ambitious and just got myself a Silo Beast tank delivered today. The coils do fit, but about half a tank just leaked out of the airflow on me ruining my shirt...I'm sort of at a loss for words about the whole thing.

I checked out the Silo reviews beforehand and most of what I read said to just ensure that the bottom airflow was closed when filling and it should be fine. I did that, but I'm guessing they just don't work for the tank, even though the Atlantis coils do.

Anyone try these with any other thanks?

Ya I haven't tried v2, but they are seriously great on v1. I've used both standard and now the 5ml extension. I think I had one coil that had some spitting at first but nothing major compared to how they do in the Triton. Mouth to lung here too.

If I don't hear any results I might have to go buy another v1. What's strange is that they haven't gone down in price. I can't find them for under $30ish, which is weird with all the competition out there.

A couple other tanks to consider are the EHpro Morph from eciggity or the iJust2.

The Morph is nice not only for the option to use other heads and RBA deck, but also because the AFC is easily dialed down to something tighter than the 1.8 coil.

The iJust2 is ridiculously cheap (I just paid $13 from 101vape) and while the vapeband style AFC ring leaves a lot to be desired, it can close the aiflow off tighter than the coil allows or can be removed entirely if you like the draw of the coil unrestricted.

I've heard a lot about the Triton's leaking/flooding and it seems like most people are blaming the heads. It seems to me the most likely culprit is actually the top-fill design of the tank not always being airtight. I've had zero flooding issues with either the 0.4 or 1.8 ohm coils in the Atlantis v1 and the Morph (I've only had the iJust2 for a day).

I did have an interesting experience with a 1.8 in the ATL v1 the other day...

I took my little Hana One with the ATL/1.8 Triton combo with me to the store the other day. I put it in my pocket and forgot to lock the mod. Walking though the store I got that hot pocket feeling.:-x I pulled it out of my pocket and the tank was so hot I could barely touch it, the tank was leaking slightly, and a quarter of the juice was gone. All the time i was in the store the tank had been firing @ 18w just boiling off my juice. Amazingly, when I walked out of the store and took a toot to see just how horribly I'd destroyed the cotton, It tasted just fine. That's my kind of coil.

I just looked up the Morph and I couldn't even finish the video review, hah. Too complicated for me. But nice looking tank if I had the patience. The iJust2 is a great thought, but that ring is a bit interesting, hmm. But yeah, for the price why not. Let us know how the 1.8's do on it.

And funny story, what a coil indeed! I saw Sweet-Vapes has a decent price for the Atlantis v1. $25 and the 5 ml extension is $8 so not too bad. I think running 2 of these might do the trick. I find that 50/50 juice still has some spit up on it, but a higher VG really is great for these coils.

I've only tried the iJust2 tank with the 0.5 ohms coils but have ordered the 1.8 ohm ones for testing. I ordered a transparent AFC band when I ordered the tank...makes a big difference in its appearance!
