Triton Battery Dead after 3 months?

I got a 1300mAH battery 11/8 and it's been great. I pulled it off the charger today and brought it with me as I went out driving so I could vape some Malibu while driving for Sidecar [it's like Uber or Lyft] without freaking out passengers. At the end of the night my same iridescent version that I bought 2 months earlier ran out of charge so I swapped and the black battery didn't turn on. I cleaned it out like always do prior to using it [91% alcohol on a q-tip AND tissue]. Nothing. Any suggestions?

Try putting it back on the charger. Make sure the charger contacts and threads are clean, too!! Watch the light on the charger. it should go red, then every so often blink blue. When it's done, solid blue and the fire button should light.

Once in a while the charger doesn't connect, or doesn't "see" the battery.

Good luck.

And congrats on almost a YEAR!!!!!

I don't know about the larger batteries, but I regularly use two 650s going on 18 months, and a 900 going over 12. The 650s are near the end though, they only last a few hours, the 900 still lasts all day.

I did receive a new 900 once that didn't ever really work at all, and it was replaced without too much hassle.

My 900s lasted me 15 months, but I've been using them lightly. I managed to revive one by putting it on and off the charger (it wasn't running more than 5 minutes), but it'll only run for an hour now.

The inside cell is a grade B cell, good for ~300 recharges. I just modded a 1'300 that was dead, by putting in a grade A 1'000 mAh; hoping it'll last me for quite some time (maybe 400 recharges?)

I'm thinking that it might be a problem with the charger. I plug both my batteries in and now they all glow blue even if they don't have a charge. I know that's not right since it never glows red. I ordered a replacement USB charger, and have the G6 to hold me over which reminds me of why I got the triton in the first place. LOL

You and I were correct. USB charger was really dirty and even after I cleaned it up and it was working but not as well. I just got my new charger day before yesterday and it works fine now.
