I recently received my new Triton starter kit. I love it and will elaborate in another post but for now I have a question about the replacement coils for the Triton tanks. I primarily vape menthol and am finding the coil that comes with the starter kit tanks a bit on the too warm side for my taste. From what I've read those are the 2.2-2.4 resistance. I'm planning on ordering a pack of replacement coils and was considering going up a step on the resistance to cool it down a bit, specifically the 2.6-2.8 resistance coils. My question is are the 2.6-2.8 too high for the non-variable voltage Triton? Thanks in advance!

Not at all, the 2.6 - 2.8 will work just fine...and in some cases be more ideal for a given ejuice. Remember, standard cartos are around 3.0 ohms as it is. Based on your post, I think that trying the higher resistance coil is a good idea, in fact.

Very good, I'll give them a try then. I'm so used to a cooler, but still relatively warm, vape of my eGo-C w/LR cartomizers. My eRoll hits warmer but the vapor volume is nowhere near what I'm getting from the Triton. I think the heat and the volume combined on the Triton is just slightly exceeding my threshold. So I figured I'd compensate with the higher 2.6-2.8 resistance coils.

…kick ... avatar PeteC2, I like it.
