Triton tank mouthpice shattered without ever dropping.

I have been using my triton tank with "damaging" liquid, which I know voids the warenty. I have heard stories of melted tanks, and have seen etching in plastic storage containers that I use, but this is a first. The mouthpice fell to pieces as if I had hit it off of a desk. It just crumbled into 5 pieces, and some still with cracks in them. Has anyone else ever seen the black mouthpiece get destroyed from liquid?

PS: the clear plastic isn't damaged on the tank in the slightest. Weird.
PSS: Yes, I know this voids my warrenty (if it had one) on the tank. I'm waiting for my pyrex tank to get in, and didn't mind killing this one)

The human stomach has a thick layer of mucus as a lining to prevent any strong acid or base from causing damage. Without such a layer, drinking a Coke may kill someone. Last I checked, the lungs don't have such a lining. If they did, smoking cigarettes or things that melt plastic would be harmless.
Sometimes things that cause irreversible damage take some time. I certainly wouldn't risk it. There is a reason top tier vendors don't offer tank killer juices.

I won't be buying any more triton tanks. I got a vivi nova and adaptor, however I just had a friend buy one of these, so can I get a direct like for him? I can't seem to locate them on that site. Thanks.

I'm not sure how this will help your friend, but I'll give you a like!

Here you go!

I know noting about that site, so this isn't an endorsement. Just the link you were asking for.

Yep, certain ejuices simply have an adverse reaction to the plastic (not us!). BTW, if the tank itself is still intact, it is cheap and easy to order replacement tips for as little as 85 cents a pop. Not hyping any vendor, but I get mine at ecigsplus.com.

$1.50 is the cheapest I find at your link.

OP, you might want to check out SI comfort tips. 5 for $1.99.

good luck

I've know had the mouthpieces on five of my tanks separate from the metal piece with the threading. Cinder Ella followed up once but I haven't heard from them again. I've since stopped using my Triton altogether due to the unaddressed issue. So can't say I'm really surprised that dropping the same piece broke it.

I didn't drop it is what I was trying to say. Heat got to it, and I picked it back up and watched it shatter. I'm using 510 thread tanks with my battery now, so no real complaints.

Ah makes sense! Sorry I misunderstood. So are you using 510 tanks on the Triton battery? If so can you point me to the ones that fit?
