I picked up an Odyssey pegasus kit about two months ago and I've been loving it up until now. Recently my Triton V1 tank has been hitting harsh as hell and I've no idea why. I replaced the coil twice (using Ni200 for temp control, bought here Ni200 Atomizer Coil for Aspire Eigate Triton Tank) to no avail. Vapor is harsh as hell no matter what e-juice, and flavor production has gone way down. However it does seem to be harsher with higher VG juices. I tried putting my friend's Atlantis tank on it and it was amazing; so its not a problem with the box, its the Triton Tank.

Any ideas? I cleaned out the tank, tried a crapton of juices, switched the coils, and its still hitting harsh. It was working fine up until now. I'm considering buying a new tank, but I'd rather not spend the money cuz this tank is relatively new.

When using the TC mode you will need a tank that sees TC type coils put to use! As for the Triton and Triton 2 tanks those are generally consistent when in the watts mode and don't see TC coils like the newer FreeMax Starre and Starre Pro tanks do. Besides any problem with the tank itself you also have to consider the ejuice you are putting in as well.

The Atlantis tanks are A#1 to start with being Aspire's best sub ohm offering with the increased capacities seen with the V2 and V2 Mega tanks in use here as well as the V1 and V2 Tritons. I sample new flavors and continue to find that non TC should be left in the normal watts mode to see the best results. The original Triton as well as other tanks that proceeded the TC mods should be run in watts. I am hearing this from others who rebuild RDAs as well.
