trouble w kanger T3 on my tesla and EGO batt

just got a kanger and like it except for the following.

because of the lack of side clearance on my Tesla, i have to use a adapter so the Kanger will fit. when i tighten the kanger on the adapter my Teslal reads "short". when i only tighten it lightly it works fine?

Also i tryed to use the kanger on my EGo batt (without extension) and nothing. It seems like its not getting power??

has anyone seen this shorting problem?

might be your center post at the bottom of the t3 (the coil head). you can pull the center post out a tad that may help you. you can use a paper clip or something small and stiff. dont pull too much because you will break it.
