Trouble with a Kanger sub ohm RTA.

I put in the extra set of coils that came with the kit. My sigelei 150 is saying to check the atty. Any ideas?

The "Extra Set", doesn't this set come with a .5 and a 1.2 ohm coils? Which coil are you trying to put in when this happens, I can imagine it may be the .5. Your 150 should have no problem with a .5 ohm coil.

Go back to the place, if you didn't order it online, and try to work out the issue. There are several variables it could be and without having a different .5 atomizer or another Mod that can possibly fire the original atomizer that you are having issues with, you're dead in the water. Would be nice to poke that Atomizer/Coil into an ohm-meter to see what it is reading. Also if you had a multimeter to see if there is even continuity - that's another variable - is this atomizer working in the first place?

The head coils are fine. It's the rba coils.

It was working before I replaced the rba coils. It does fine with the .5 head coils.

Did you make sure the legs aren't resting on the build deck? That is a pretty common problem that will result in a short

Is the insulator still good? Are you running dual coils or single? I've heard there can be issues using two coils as opposed to a single coil set up also, do you have any pics of your build?

Running dual coils and I will get pics when I get home.

Try backing out the pin on the rba section by 3/4 of a turn or so. Just make sure that you don't back it out too far or the post will come loose.

That did the trick. It's vape in good at 30 watts and .3 ohms. Thanks.

Moved from Rebuildable Atomizer Systems to Clearomizers..

Since these are considered clearomizers, sub-tanks will be moved to this forum to keep all information in one place, and not scattered amongst RTA's like the Kayfun, Taifun, etc..
