Long story short I recently bought a sigelei 150 watt box. I have an Orchid v6 tank that hasnt come in yet. Can I safely use an old Kanger Pro tank 1 on the sigelei?

I currently have 1.5 ohm and 2.2 ohm coils for the pro tank if that matters? Im concerned though that the Pro Tank wont be able to handle the power. Is there a voltage or wattage setting suitable for the protank 1 on the sigelei or do I need to just wait until the Orchid v6 comes in to be able to "sub-ohm"

Also do most sigelei owners actually sub-ohm or do a more typical ohm, say 1.5-2 ohm?

Thanks!

1: of course you can safely use an old kanger protank1 on the sigelei
2: if you turn up too much power it will burn out the coil
3: start low and go up slowly; should work in the 5 watt to 10 watt region

Awesome. Thanks, just wanted to make sure :)

Another thing wanted to ask, is it true if you rebuild the coil, you can actually increase the watts a little bit due to the cotton wicking? Been watching riptrippers coil rebuilds, interesting stuff =)

Yes you can rebuild the coil.
Cotton wicks better than silica.

You can just rewick the coil instead of trying to rebuild it; take out the old wick; dryburn the coil; then rewick.
If you wick it tight it won't wick very fast.
If you wick it loose, it will wick fast and tend to run at higher watts.

If you recoil with a thicker gauge wire than it came with, it will run at higher watts;
