i got my first e cig on monday (1100 mah enso axis battery and a 2 ml aspire tank). earlier today i accidentally got a little fluid down the air pipe. i took the e cig apart and carefully cleaned out all the parts to remove the fluid and then reassembled/filled the tank. my e cig ran smoothly again for about half an hour and then out of nowhere the cavity underneath my drip tip started filling with fluid and fluid would come into my mouth when i hit it. i took the tank apart again cleaned out the drip tip and blew any fluid out of the air pipe. it started working but the same problem occurred after about 10 hits. does anyone know what is causing this and if/how it can be fixed? thanks

I read something similar somewhere else on this forum, but I can't remember where. I'd hate to give you the totally wrong advice, so I will just suggest that you google "aspire tank flooding" and you should get a relevant hit. I suggest google search because the forums search engine seems to be less effective in returning the results you are looking for. Good luck and welcome to the forum!

When a bottom coil clearotank begins flooding, I remove the coil head/base and wipe down the entire base and coil head with a paper towel. Reassemble.

I'm not sure why this seems to work. Perhaps the wick gets too saturated and floods the air chamber?

Also make sure you are not pulling too hard during your draw. Too hard of a pull can cause flooding. A longer, gentler draw will work best.

i don't think i have the type of tank you are thinking of. my tank uses a really tiny little atomizer and al the wicks are tightly packed inside the atomizer. like the atomizer and the wicks together are only about a half in long and as thick as a standard pencil. and the atomizer screws into the bottom portion of my tank. and my tank is filled from the bottom

You have exactly the type of tank I'm thinking of. The Aspire CE5 clearomizer. Dual bottom coil, filled from the bottom. Two tiny laser-drilled holes with white wicks within them. Coil head screws into the base.
