And I just wanted to say thanks for all the information everybody shared on the e-cig forums.

This place is such a great resource that I was able to get vaping figured out in one weekend, and was able to start off on the right foot without first wasting a ton of money trying things that didn't work.

I guess I should provide a pic of my starter kit:

In this photo:
joyetech eVic with 3400mAH battery ('official' Green Sanyo)
(4) Kanger Protank

Fluids (all 24mg with 15% VG except the first two which are 100% PG)
30ml MFS 4-Star General e-fluid
30ml MFS Desert Ship e-fluid
30ml MFS Blueberry e-fluid
30ml MFS English Toffee e-fluid
30ml MFS Vanilla-Cream-Caramel-Coffee e-fluid
15ml MFS Green Apple e-fluid
15ml MFS Lemonade e-fluid

and 2 syringe bottles. (and a dalmation birdhouse my 13-year-old son made in shop class).

I think this was a pretty good start, though I've already found myself lusting after a Terminator rebuildable atomizer... so I guess this is how it begins, lol. I mainly wanted to start with something easy, yet not so cheap that it would get relegated to the scrap heap as I got something better. So I budgeted 2 months worth of cigarette money, and took the plunge.

One thing I will say, I was not expecting the intensity of the first hit I took... I've been watching so many vaping videos lately and everybody makes it look like it's easy to puff huge clouds of vapor...

Well, I coughed... and choked. lol.
So I turned down the wattage a little bit and tried again, and the second vape was much nicer.

Thanks again everybody. This is a great place for beginners like me, because of people like you.:thumb:

Nice gear! I love the pro tanks easy to use and such a solid build.

If your coughing too much try a higher vg liquid to smooth everything out

Thank you. I'll keep the VG ratio in mind the next time I buy fluids. I already think I'm going to have to drop down to 18mg nicotine because these fluids are pretty intense at 24mg. I have to take it easy or I feel like I'm inhaling a cigar.

Such pretty gear! The Kanger Protanks compliment the eVic very well. I'm envious.

Thanks! I agree that the Protanks are beautiful little tanks. I'm hoping to get a polished chrome aftermarket cap and battery tube for my evic so that it matches even better, but the nice round lines of each definitely complement one another.

Whoot whoot!! Lovely set up you got going there! Yes...that is how it starts!! But it's so much fun!!

Thank you. I'm afraid that with my addictive personality I'm going to end up with a drawer full of vaping gear before the year is out, lol. So far I've been having a blast just devouring every little tidbit of information I come across.

It's also nice to be free from cigarettes after 22 years.

Before the year is out...lol! You don't want to know what I've accumulated after a couple of months. Thankfully after I got verified I was able to sell a couple of things I wasn't in love with on the classifieds. I've also helped get a friend started & donated some juice to others. It's quite addictive!!
